Can't wait to hear/see about it!
I bet he is uploading 600 pictures and making videos as we speak.
I was looking at his pics on Facebook this morning.... wwwaaaahhhhhhh! I so want to go back to Disney!
Hey all and thanks for the great comments! Im getting all my pictures sorted and such. Ill try to get something up soon, but I'm also fighting to fix one of scrappy's work computers at the same time and get a bunch of virus's off of it. I'd like to smack some people at her work!
Plus I need to get back to my exercise routine, I don't want to slack off on that, it just makes it harder.
We arrived on Friday July 5 in the evening at the Hampton Inn on Palm Parkway, go into our rooms and chilled the rest of the night. Really liked our room key, its a keeper

Saturday we got up early and had breakfast at the Hotel. Always like a the breakfasts Hampton Inns do. After filling our bellies, we packed up and headed to the Boardwalk Villas!
I will say right now that from the start of our arrival, we had some issues with our reservations and we had some rough times but it all worked out and we had a great time.
We had done the online check-in, but it didn't really seem to make much of a difference this trip. I should have picked up when they couldn't find our folder, that this was going to be a different kind of experience this trip. Scrappy & I checked in, but our room was not ready yet. Tom and Del checked in and their's was so we had all the luggage taken to their room. Like always its beautiful when you walk into the lobby of the Boardwalk.
We headed up to Tom and Del's room to get everything settled in so we could head out to the MK for our ADR at the Plaza Restaurant for lunch. Got into their room and it had a gorgeous vies view.
We got adjusted quick and headed to the MK!
We parked at the MK and took the tram to T&TC, then decided to walk to the Poly to the Poly and take the boat from the dock there to go to the MK. I wanted to get some quick pictures for the Tikiman of the new fire pit on the beach in front of the Hawaii Longhouse and see if they got a new cabana up yet.
I never miss a chance to walk through the Poly! Got my pictures and hopped on the boat to the MK!
Got inside and headed down Main Street USA! Right to Starbucks! Not a thing wrong with it people. You can use snack credits and they serve breakfast sandwiches. I didn't get a look at the menu but I talked to a few people that said everything was good. They really move the crowds through here.
Yay mrhub for the pics! Awesome as always. Beautiful views from the Boardwalk room. You guys sure look like you know how to have fun
And scrappy looks happy with a nice cool frappy! (I just made that up! Ad if that's not a frappuccino then it doesn't work as well
More please!!!!!!
Great pictures Mrhub. It was worth the wait and I'll have what Scrappy is having.
We headed right over to the People Mover. Big shout out for all the CM's that made this another Magical Trip! All it takes from them is a smile, a wave & a "Have a Magical Day! Thank you Chris!
After the People Mover we did CP and then headed to The Plaza Restaurant for lunch. Lunch was delicious! I know some people think of this restaurant as nothing but a "glorified counter service", which I'll never understand. The place is always booked and the food is way better then you can get at any counter service restaurant, they have a wide variety, and its a nice place to eat on a hot, crowded, Magic Kingdom day!
Awesome view at the Boardwalk. I want to stop there and see the carousel. I'm looking forward to trying the Plaza restaurant.
JoAnn it is beautiful, you should go see it. Now we had a wonderful lunch and cooled down. Got a text from BWV that our room was ready. Grabbed a few picture and then we headed back to the resort to get unpacked and cleaned up.
Our room was a little ways from the elevator, 4th floor , room #4001, and when I say a little, I mean as far as you can possibly get! We were the last room at the end of the hallway. Had a great view, I can't complain about that. But I see why people would ask for one closer to the elevator, especially if you have any walking problems. I got my webcams all set up and then got showers. It was getting close to time to head out for dinner.
Well we headed off once again, down the hallway of time (should have gotten a video of just the walk down the hallway), stopped to get Tom & Del and out we went towards the boat launch towards the Yachtsman Steakhouse. We had to wait for the boat so we took some pics while waiting.
The boat showed up and it was off to the Yachtsman! One of the skippers, Blaine, met us at the dock. He was another great CM.
Are you ready for the Speedo yet, huh? Are you ready? It's coming!
But first we have to have dinner.
The Yacht Club! Home of the Yachtsman Steakhouse.
Yeah!!! A trip report!!! The balcony off your Boardwalk rooms looks superb!
