Yeah it was really nice to meet you guys. I was only sorry we had such a short time. But like you say, our paths can cross again someday; it's a small world, after all.

Those steaks look amazing! Sorry to hear you had trouble finding your mom a wrap, did you guys try stopping at one of the first aid stations? We stopped at the one in Epcot near the World Showcase when we were there in September because my sister had some blisters on her feet. All she had to do was write her information on the sign in sheet and they gave us a large handful of bandaids in assorted sizes.

ahhhhh is a wrap like a dressing? that may be where we went wrong!!! haha well that probably would have been best but we didn't get a map that night because everywhere was so wet we forgot and the lady on the entrance sent us to guest services and in all honesty we weren't sure if there was first aid places in the world - we should have known Disney would cover everything

we did find the first aid location at MK but that's a story for another day.......... haha

So my question is Amy, if you went back to YS would you try a different steak.?...We did see a family sitting not far from us getting the 32oz porterhouse and it looked unbelievable...

Friday 26th September
we gave ourselves a bit of a lie in this morning (we are not usually morning people!) and headed to MK around 9.30 and headed straight for starbucks for my fix! I had a sausage and egg muffin (where have these been all my life?!) and mam had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich which she said was nice but not as nice as the one I had! we ate that and wandered around for our first FP Space Mountain mam didn't ride as she was worried about getting in and out with her bad foot so I went alone

bet the couple in front of me just cherish that picture with the crazy girl at the back!!! haha I love the ride but i wish they would make it easier to get in and out of!
we intended on riding Buzz Lightyear but the line was crazy big (like extended outside queue and everything!) for a halloween party day it was busy!!!! we stepped on TTA and had a browse at the works from above of the hub

we then headed up to Fantasyland and rode the teacups which we haven't done in years! I loved it!!! we wandered up for our M & G with Rapunzel and Cinderella - my inner child took over as I got my autograph book and princess ready for its first signature!!! nothing more normal than a 25yr old with an autograph is there?! i still had my birthday button on which was a good ice breaker!

when we came out I had this overwhelming urge to ride the carousel - so I did!!! it was so cute and I really enjoyed myself!!! i will make more of a point to ride this and the teacups in future
we started getting hungry and seen as we had an early ADR we thought we better have an early lunch, we were too late to get into BOG sad so we went to Columbia Harbour House which was delicious we had chicken and fish platters with seasonal cobbler I loved my entree but can't comment on cobbler but mam had it and said it was wonderful!
It was time for our 7DMT FP so off we went and I took a few pictures this time round

as we came off the ride they were actually closing the ride as there was a storm in the area - time to make our way out of the park then! as we were heading to go through the castle we happened to stumble upon Suzy and Perla having a surprise meet as much as I would have like to meet them I decided to just get some pictures as we were standing there was 2 little girls to our left patiently waiting, the characters turned away as if they were leaving and the little girls started to cry, luckily the CM escorting them realised and turned them around so they could meet them and they were squeezing so hard it was so cute but then the smallest one refused to let go!!! it was so cute I took a picture! they then stood up and walked with the 2 girls to the castle where they had to go back in and the whole thing was just magical

we walked through and headed to the bus as quick as we could those black clouds were coming our way!!! and if I remember rightly we actually saw the lightening in the distance!
once we got back to the room I decided to have a little nap before the party tonight but just as I settled down there was a knock at the door it was Disney Floral and gifts apparently for me?! mam double checked with him because nobody in our family would know how do it nor did they have an occasion to send it for he confirmed it was definatley mine so she took it in

that was definatley me but on inspecting the message on the card it clearly was for some boys so mam took it to the main desk to hand it in and I hope they found who's it was
I finally got some sleep but it was the kind you feel worse after but we got ready and headed out to MK around 4.10 as we left it started raining a little bit but when were standing at the bus stop it started coming down really heavy again! we could barely see anything! it didn't ease up even when we got to MK and we didn't have ponchos so we waited a little bit under the shelter hoping it would calm down - it didn't! so we just had to go for it and hope for the best! we headed straight for Tonys to get under shelter and were seated pretty much straight away
I should mention at this point Ton'y wasn't a place we were expecting great things from it was "we need an ADR at MK for Halloween party and this was before Liberty Tree tavern was on the menu! but we decided to keep it as we heard mixed reviews and wanted to make my own mind up about it, we were seated in the main room with the fountain but also had a view out into the sun room and I think we had a perfect seat! I had Pork Tenderloin which was lovely but there was seasoning I wasn't fussed on mam had NY strip steak which was gorgeous (I tried it!) and we decided at this point we will definitely be back!

then the desserts!! I had the seasonal cheesecake which was apple and mam had the chocolate Hazelnut cake - both were gorgeous I was not expecting to like it as much as we did - this is definitely a must for the future

once we finished we decided to go to the emporium and see if they were sellling the merch early - they were!! got in the line for my Magic Band and got one yay I wanted a better look at the pins so we headed to frontierland trading hoping i would have a better view - there was nobody else in!!!! on our way we got this picture took would anybody like to guess what i disneybounded as? (don't be scared to be wrong only 1 person got it!)

once we got to frontierland trading I decided on the Maleficent and hook pins (I wanted the box but I hadn't allowed that much pin money - that will be changed next time!) the party was due to start so we decided to do some trick or treating but everywhere was so busy!!!! I've never been to a party like it I'm going back to Sunday parties! it was horrible misty rain which wasnt nice but we thought "what the heck!" we kept making it back to the castle for the villians show but each one was cancelled minutes before sad I love that show so I was disappointed we spent most of the night ducking in and out of shops and out of the rain but everywhere was just so busy it wasn't as enjoyable
we made it back to the castle for the projection show and fireworks which I love (wishes has a slight edge over hallowishess for me but mainly because of the song)

Oooooo good question and I think I would probably stick with what I had I loved it so much it's actually on our short list for next year paying OOP and if mam was wanting to share the biggie I would be up for it (somehow I can't see her letting me pay $110 for 1 steak!) but if we were ordering separate Id probably stick with the Kansas!

Friday 26th September - Cont
After the fireworks were finished we made our way to Liberty square to find a spot for the parade (my most favourite parade ever!) and we found a great spot just down from Liberty Tree Tavern heading towards frontierland (I should not we did try and get into the villains dance party but everytime we went past there was a line to get in!!! no thanks ill go next year! whilst we waited mam went and got us some drinks then the parade came (minus horseman but I'm always underwhelmed by him so wasn't bothered)

I want to be in the band soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad!!!

after the parade passed we decided to head out we were tired and there wasn't much else we could do and it was still raining misty stuff so we headed out
we just got under the canopy of the bus shelters and the heavens opened the roads turned into swimming pools luckily because we left early we got on the first bus with a seat!!! overall I LOVE the Halloween party but a combination of the weather and how busy it was we didn't enjoy it as much but it wont stop me from going next year

Ariel?

Loving your trip report so far. I'm so jealous of everyone that gets these wonderfully long vacations to WDW. I only had 5 days, and I didn't get to do anywhere near everything I wanted to do. sad

I love the Halloween Parade too. Those dancers really get into it.

You should have went to the Villain's Dance Party, it was pretty good. Somehow we managed to be first on line for that. We only waited about 15 minutes to get in.

The candy stations at WDW are crazy. You wait on line and get up there and they give you two pieces of candy. Two? Really? Is there a candy shortage? I'm pretty sure they get it for free. Jeez!

Great report and pics.

I'm sorry that your MNSSHP was a disappointment! But I'm glad that you've been before so you know that it's an unusual experience to have one like that. Ours was Sunday night and we had heard that the party on Friday had been packed because apparently people from Tuesday (I think) came back again on Friday because the Tuesday party was rained out very badly.

That would explain a lot because it was unbelievablely busy if it was my first time I would probably run for the hills before going back but knew it was unusual we are going to go back to Sunday's!!!

Thanks allie!!!

Finally caught up - sounds like you had some great moments, I like the red wine incident hehehe.

Shame the party was a bit of a bust, the 2 that I did were sold out but it did not seem too bad, maybe the good weather helped.... I liked your Ariel costume how could people not tell, clearly not Disney enough waiting

Oh and the CM's that couldn't tell that you were Ariel must have been the same ones that were completely confused by my Happy Birthday Magic Kingdom button on October 1 waiting

I have to say we had a great time plenty of laughs!!!! however my lovely light denim gilet will never be the same again!!!! it still has red wine on it!!!!

I think Alicemouse mentioned that if people were let into ours because of a party earlier in the week that would make sense because we have been to sold out parties before and none were as crazy as the night we went!!!

thanks I'm so pleased people get it on here!!!

you need to hurry up with your report I cant wait to hear your spin on everything!!!!
