We have never, ever had any server at WDW remind us about tipping or say anything about it.
You've never had them circle or star the "tip not included" section of your receipt? I consider that a reminder. Oh my gosh I get that all the time and it drives me nuts! We're usually on the dining plan though, maybe that makes a difference.
On our bills for food service they printed two "suggested" tip amounts. I will scan one of these bills and post it tomorrow.

I am not sure they circle tip amounts to beg for a tip. I like to think they may do it to save you time from trying to find it. They may also do that because not everyone goes to Disney as often as we all tend to and tips use to be included with the meal plans.The same could be true when they list the two suggested amounts. They are saving you the time of figuring it out. I am not the list bit upset to see tips circled on the check.

I am cracking up about the CM's name. And I see, that your server did not circle either message.
Her ID tag said "MT". When I asked her about it she said that they were her initials and that was always her nickname even before getting married.
She's on the left in the picture and has worked at Whispering Canyon since it opened.

I think that it's pretty obvious by the printed material that they expect you to tip, and how much. There's no need for anyone to circle or star it, that's just being obnoxious.
