I like the proposal idea.

It was very nice of your travel agent to get the photopass for you. but... honestly, I think it's kind of creepy to give access to photos of total strangers. If I were a parent I wouldn't want my kids photos available to people I didn't know.

I have to agree, I don't even let everyone on my facebook page see all my photos.

And don't stress too much over the proposal, it'll be great even if it doesn't go exactly as you plan! I'm a big fan of private proposals rather than public ones as well, so asking her at the resort sounds like a good idea.

Okay I would say I would have to be totally public, and I think Scrappy would want it that way too! If I was proposing for the first time "again" and we were going to Walt Disney World, I would want to do it where everyone could see, and we would have awesome pictures. I'd hand someone a camera and say "record this please" and I have no doubt that they would! We will be married 33 years this Sept. and to have those kinds of memories on film would be priceless. Plus all the magnificent places to propose in WDW, In front of the Castle, during Wishes or Illuminations, right in the middle of Main Street with all the Photopass CM's there, On the Double Decker Bus with Barbara, heck on ToT, or R&R, in front of the Mickey's Sorcerer Hat, or the Tree of Life, going up the hill on Everest, and the list goes on.................................................................

I understand the wish to make it private, but after seeing a proposal in May on the Tomorrowland Bridge (during Wishes), I have to say it was the loveliest thing I've seen in a long time. muchlove

I asked DH if he was taking notes for his "re-proposal" someday - we've been married 33 years too. I sure didn't get something that romantic the first time. laugh

That sounds sweet! I think I've just witnessed too many public proposals that go badly (comically so in some cases) that I just can't deal with them anymore. I think I get more nervous watching them than the person proposing!

I like picking what I make public, I am a fairly private person in some aspects and think my proposal should be private.
