I would think along the lines of of a pirate costume for me as well but I would definitely not restrict myself to Disney related costumes, there are way too many other interesting possibilities out there. The problem is that if you are flying out, the costume, whatever it is, takes up too much valuable luggage space.

Hmmm... Ive been wanting to go as a pirate for a long while. Like Captain Jack or something... but...... im not sure. Its been a while since ive dressed up for Halloween. Last time I did I went as Neo from The Matrix. Cant remember what my son went as that year. Unless you count the past couple years ive worn my CBJ Jersey's... lol
That was the year that Evan was one. He went as a lion and I was a nurse
