We went to a friend's house and played games, watched the ball drop, ate and drank lots of wine. First time we've been awake at midnight in a few years!

I came home from work at 11, walked the dog, scrappy had gone to bed, I sat on the couch and settled in and watched the Fireworks live from the Poly beach. Great fireworks display!

We didn't do much. My family enjoyed a nice steak dinner on NYE last night and I enjoyed a Devils win against the Penguins that afternoon.

I drank some sparkling wine, binged watched 'The White Queen', and went to bed before midnight. 
All while my kids were making bad jokes throughout the evening about how they wouldn't see me until next year.

Good evening,
On New Year's Eve my Disney-loving girlfriend Susie and I went out to dinner with three of her friends at Charlie Brown's Steakhouse in Maple Shade, NJ. After she dropped me off at home, I watched the ball drop on TV.
