Bambi. There. I said it. Never saw it. Sadly, there are alot of the classics/basics I've never seen. I have led a very sheltered life....

This is my opinion... but I think you can get away with that one. I put it on the other day for my daughter... and we barely got 5 minutes into it and I switched it back to Toy Story 3.

"Up" is my favorite! I think it even beats out Disney classics for me. I love that movie.

You people are causing me to have anxiety attacks with the movies you haven't seen!! Start watching more movies!!!

Of the theatrical animated releases, (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Disney_theatrical_animated_features)
The only ones I haven't seen is Home on the Range and Tangled. Tangled will be seen as soon as it's released to bluray this month!!

I haven't seen a lot of the sequels or the straight-to-dvd releases as I put more emphasis and time into the theatrical releases.

I have never seen it past a certain part. My mom said when I got the video when I was a kid I watched it until the mother died..and the tape never went past that spot again.

cdub, Home on the Range is a bad movie about some cows who go bounty hunting for outlaws.
Here's a link if you want to learn more. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0299172/

Poor Bella! Yes, Bambi has traumatized generations of young children. I too, lost it as a kid at that part.

That was actually the first movie I took my son to. It was decent but wasnt the worst Disney movie ive seen.

There are a whole host of films I haven't seen, but especially notable are Hunchback, Mulan, Pocahontas, and that Emperor one? I sort of lost interest for a while after Lion King, then gained it back once I had children.

I definitely think that the Disney standard dipped after Lion King (apart from the Pixar films, which are excellent!)

Yeah... Pixar picked it up where Disney kinda left off so to speak. But for me... besides Toy Story 3... I havent enjoyed them as much since Incredibles.

I'm glad I'm not alone! I love Disney, but I find that I'm not necessarily "rah rah" every movie. I saw most of Bolt and wasn't all that impressed...probably mostly because I'm not a big Miley Cyrus fan. But I am really looking forward to Cars 2 (I need to see the first one actually) and Winnie the Pooh this summer. I'll probably skip Mars Needs Moms, and get Gnomeo and Juliet on Blu Ray.

Oof! They've been prolific lately!

I cant wait for Winnie! Going back to hand drawn animation and everything. And ill be skipping Mars Needs Moms too... the animation seems really cheap in it. Unless its Pixar or Dreamworks... I have a hard time appreciating the computer animation. The only one ive like that wasnt done by either was Chicken Little. I enjoyed that one.

I agree after the Lion King I sort of stopped watching them (or caring) and then got back into them once Pixar came into the mix. The era of the sequel just wasn't for me.
Although..I cannot wait for Monsters Inc 2. The first one is my favorite Pixar movie ever.

I think I've only missed Meet the Robinsons... the company used to pay us to see the movies--the theater releases anyway--(reimburse us like $8) so that we could speak about the movies better.
Oh, and I havent seen Tangled yet. (they stopped paying us to see it! lol) It's hard for me to see the Thanksgiving releases because it's so crazy busy at work.

I sure hope WtP is good, I love those characters.

I'm pretty perplexed by Mars Needs Moms. The trailers don't seem to be even able to find some scenes to make it look interesting. Most films aren't as interesting as the trailer suggests, so I'd be worried about one where they can't even make a compelling trailer.

To go totally off topic..I always really confused when movies use the trailers with scenes that were cut from the movie...and usually these are the funny parts of the trailer. I am sure there is a whole science here I don't understand about movie making..but that just seems like common sense to Bella.

I agree, Bella. I'm always looking for those scenes...or for that music, and when it isn't there or used, I'm disappointed.

We've talked somewhere about the fact that I had never seen Cars - owing to the fact that my first kiddo was a girlie, and she was more interested in princesses than cars, so I just never got around to it - but I borrowed it the other nite, watched it - and I LOVED it! The characters were great, the voice talent was great, the animation was phenomenal (of course) - but I especially loved all of the great cameos (not sure I've figured them all out yet) and the music was terrific. I actually teared up when they showed the deterioration of Radiator Springs. I am a sentimental fool, and I know we have to evolve with the times...but I wish we could figure out a way to do it while still celebrating our heritage...

Ok...soapbox vacated. Back to chatting about movies!

"Major League" had a great line that was in the trailers but wasn't in the movie:

"That ball wouldn't have been out of a lot of parks?"
"Name one"
"The Grand Canyon"

Or something like that. Everyone would quote the line, but it doesn't actually appear in the movie. I always wondered why. Maybe the scene didn't work, just the line.

Oh! I remember that! Probably because the actor who plays the coach has such a distinctive voice. I can hear it right now...

I've seen nearly all of the animated movies....except for Lilo & Stich...no desire at all to see that one...don't know why, it just never, ever appealed to me...
