Off topic but in response: Have you noticed any of the purple flare on your iphone 5? I really want to get an iphone for the camera (and related camera apps). From what I could gather, the purple flare is pretty situational, but I'm still uncertain if I should go 5 or go 4s. I'm pretty much set on an iphone regardless.

WHat is the purple flare? I havent heard of that before?

That's not the original article I read on it but there's been several sites verify the purple haze/flare exists. Apple says it's normal and to hold the camera at a different angle. Seems to me the problem might be very situational and not really impact 99% of the photos you take.

Oh wow... this is the first ive seen this. You know what. When I leave here.... (am at Starbucks right now) ill try it out and see what happens and post the pictures.

I know from reading your previous posts on another thread that you enjoy technology and phones so I shouldn't feel too bad for pestering you, right?

Well... here is this... tried to get the most light in the room, and taking the pictures long ways instead of landscape and got nothing...

Good to know! See, that's what I figured. I think it would be really hard to replicate the flare. In normal, every day usage, I doubt I'd even experience it or recognize it. Thanks for testing it out!

Yeah... I couldnt get it to do it even if I tried. So there must be some odd way to do it more than likely.
