While I love love love EPCOT, I had to vote for the Magic Kingdom because that is the park where the magic is strongest for me. I love walking down Main Street and immediately feeling like a kid again.

I love all four parks, but I chose Epcot because I love the open feel of it, the restaurants, the WS shops, Soarin, the entrance music...

EPCOT has always been my all time favorite.. from the variety of food choices, to the details in each of the World Showcase pavillions to the best fireworks show on property, Illuminations... EPCOT just makes me happy! yay

Can I just vote for all except AK? I'm not a huge fan of AK, but I do enjoy it a little bit. We did the Africa Trek in September and got to do the rope bridges and go behind the scenes of the Safari tour which was pretty cool. But it's one of those, "once I've done it, I don't need to do it again anytime soon" parks.

Magic Kingdom is classic, you can't beat that. I don't even feel like I'm really in WDW until I stand there looking down Main Street. As a kid (11-17) Hollywood Studios was my favorite because of the thrill rides RRC, and ToT. Now that I'm an adult there is something about EPCOT (drinks around the world help) that draws me to it. You really appreciate learning about the countries, and doing everything there is to do in EPCOT more as an adult than a kid or teenager. It also feels like a lot of my memories with my family are at EPCOT. I don't know if it's because there is less time spent on rides so you have more time to talk and enjoy each others company, or what, but I remember a lot of times there more than the other parks. BUT my vote will still have to be for Magic Kingdom.

Me and my DW veer between AK and Epcot.

Epcot nudges it for me as it was the first park I ever went to - and holds a special place in my heart, as I have many happy memories watching the IllumiNations show with my DW who had jut agreed to marry me Laughing out loud

AK though is her favourite as she likes the animals, and slightly slower pace.

I would have to say EPCOT. Love World Showcase with all the restaurants (and bars). But, sometimes it just doesn't feel like a Disney vacation until I see Main Street USA for the first time on a trip. Overall, EPCOT is my choice for favourite park. Love Illuminations and just strolling around World Showcase at night.

Plus, a few of my favourite rides in Mission Space, Test Track & Soarin' are there. And the people watching from the Rose & Crown with a pint never gets old.

MK is my favorite mickey ; The castle, Main Street & shops, Train Station, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, etc., etc. It has that old time charm that brings us back year after year. But during the Food and Wine Festival, EPCOT is second to none. Party

Magic Kingdom for us. Especially near closing. Wishes and the atmosphere of each area in the dark is so special.

MK will always be the home of the magic for me. Always.

However, I love AK for the Yetiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, Epcot for the food, and HS for Tower of Terror, which is my all-time favorite ride of all-time ever. All-time. Wink

Allow me to shift the paradigm.....

AK is my least favorite. Although I really like Everest, the Safari, and the Lion King Festival. I find the park "tight" making it feel crowded even when it's fairly empty.

As to the other parks, there are times when each of them is my favorite.

If I could only hit one park during a 1 day visit, it would be HS.

I agree with you on AK, Bill. I actually enjoyed it way more then I thought I would on our last trip (I didn't remember loving it last time I had been there and I royally hate zoos) and I loved EE, Yak & Yeti, and Nemo and my husband loved the safari, however I think we both agree that if we had to skip a park it would be AK.

YES!! I agree completely. The older I get, the more I LOVE the World Showcase, but nothing makes you feel as special as walking into the Magic Kingdom and staring down Main Street to see the castle.

I had to vote for Magic Kingdom. Though I LOVE Epcot - I felt so serene and calm both times I visited the park, and I hadn't even had any alcohol yet!! It's just, Magic Kingdom is so quintessentially Disney and it's so wonderful (even though I'm still mad about my Space Mountain misadventures that led to me not riding it at all). When I look ahead to future trips, MK is where I want to go most.

DHS is the only park other then mk i remember going to when i was under 5 for some reason i hated every ride there until i was tall enough for star tours and then all of the rides just became instant favorites . i also think it is the least busy on most days and the best night time show

Different parts of me argue on behalf of each park, which says a lot about Disney's genius.

I like the Animal Kingdom because for me it packs the most punch for each attraction, including non-headliners like Flights of Wonder, the Maharajah Jungle Trek and the Pangani Forest exploration trail. Its downfall is two-fold: (1) There aren't enough attractions--it's the only park I would be satisfied with one full day at; and (2) No nighttime extravaganza. Those two items are significant enough to usually make it tied for my least favorite park.

The Studios is awesome because it has three of my favorite seven WDW attractions in Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Midway Mania. Plus, it has Fantasmic, which is always fighting desperately to be my favorite all-time event at WDW. If I had three Golden FastPasses and only three hours to spend in WDW, I would do those four things and be uber happy. The problem is besides those four things I don't get super excited about anything.

Epcot might be my favorite park. It has almost everything with thrill rides, food exploration (even if not as bold as I would like), beauty, discovery, etc. I easily spend more time here than any of the other parks thanks to its over-abundance of pleasures. And, of course, there is Illuminations. Love it!

But when push comes to shove, the Magic Kingdom edges Epcot out. It lets me be a kid no matter how old I am and how often I go. I am ever grateful for that gift. I'm not a parade person in general, but I love their parades, especially at night. And there is something extra magical about Wishes over the castle to conclude a glorious childish day at the MK.

Voted for animal kingdom as I LOVE the safari ride - the noises and smells are fantastic too!
However, Epcot is a joint favourite - just love visiting the different countries and 'people watching' and the fireworks are fab!

It's a tossup between Magic Kingdom and Epcot but I'll give the edge to the MK. The MK is Disney in a nutshell basically. I remember reading one post on a previous forum that the MK epitomizes our childhood imaginations. Think about it. When we were kids, we wanted to be so many things. Astronauts, pirate, cowboy, princess, you name it. Those themed lands are a representation of our childhood imaginations coming to life so to speak. Other than that, it does have the advantage of having more rides and the most characters there, which is also why it tops the list. And when you have grand parades and fireworks almost every day, that just shows how much of a spectacle the MK is.

But don't get me wrong. Epcot is a good park that I also really enjoy. Love Soarin and being able to walk around World Showcase and trying all the foods, seeing the unique street shows they put on.

Wow... Now that is a tough question. I have to go with EPCOT. I love that EPCOT is a tribute to all mankind. It's about progress, and moving forward with new technology with the idea of helping everyone. World showcase is such a great way to "travel" and learn about different cultures. I love the attractions, and the food!

I voted Epcot because it has my all time favorite ride Spaceship Earth. But aside from that, it's because I just love the music, the feeling, the walking around... And of course, because of the Voices of Liberty. I could spend hours listening to them given the chance.
But I love all the Parks. Just have a slight love more for Epcot.

Hollywood Studios just edged it for me as I'm interested in the way things are done in the movies (I also work in media and dabble in movie shoots pretending I can act!) and also as it has Toy Story Midway Mania and that has turned into one of my favourite attractions at Disney. Epcot is a close second - can't beat a bit of Spaceship Earth, a ride that has changed significantly from my first visit in 1988, Soarin' or Test Track. I like Magic Kingdom for the nostalgia...you can truly be a kid for a day no matter your age, but it'll be HS or Epcot for me.

Very interesting question. The adult in me has to say Epcot but the child part of me says Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is and has to be the first park I go to when I get to Disney and it has to be for the full day...no half day stuff. laugh

I do have to admit, I also go to Magic Kingdom first when I go to WDW...I like the nostalgia but all too soon, the sightly more sensible side of my brain tells me to go seek the more adult-orientated parks - and look for Star Wars, Indiana Jones and the Test Track...as well as Soarin', Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, Mission: Mars and The Muppets >_<

I'm going to say EPCOT, but the gap is getting a lot narrower due to the lack of upgrades. I still can't think of a place I'd rather be than walking around Future World and World Showcase at night. If I lived in Florida and went to WDW a lot, I think the place I'd frequent the most to just hang out would be EPCOT.
