I've been wanting to go to Disney for about a year now but was unsure if I wanted to go it alone. I decided the heck with it and booked a trip for November 27, 2017, through December 1.
I found this thread while doing some research on solo trips to Disney. I'd love to meet other solo travelers while I am there or hear any tips you might have if you have done this before.

I want to do a solo trip so bad!!! But every time I book someone wants to tag along! I've had a few days here and there alone but it's not enough. I love it. I do what I want when I want and usually meet up with some great folks I've met here and elsewhere!!!

I loved my solo trip, it was my 1st major trip and my 1st solo. I'm soon to hit DL solo and can't wait.
This forum has great tips, and everyone is so helpful.

Just back from my Asian parks and DLand trip and booked WDW for Sept 25-29, 2017 solo trip for my 49th bday!

Looks like we'll be in Orlando for the AKC Obedience classic dog show from Dec 13th-17th. That means we will probably go to Animal Kingdom the 18th to check out Pandora, I want to go to US to see Diagon Alley one day. We will probably stay another day or two depending on how long I can get off work. *So tentatively 18-19th in WDW.* 20th & maybe 21st in US. We just went in January, I don't think I've ever been twice in a yr! This is a really huge dog show, we went in 2013 and it's really fun. We waited too late last year to send in our entries, so I sent them in via overnight service this time.
We won't stay in WDW resorts because we'll have our dogs, last time we stayed at Doubletree by Hilton Orlando/SeaWorld. It is close to the Orange County convention center & allows pets. I just checked online & I can get a room at about $60.00/night through my company. I'll book as soon as we decide the exact dates.

Shanghai Disney was amazing! I wish we had planned more days. We will be going back to Shanghai Aside from people taking our picture all the time it was much more fun than I expected.

I'm excited for this ride to arrive at the MK, it was awesome. The pirates ride was also very cool and oddly enough we loved the Alice in Wonderland Hedge maze in Shanghai.

Well, you can officially place me permanently in the "currently in WDW" section! My wife and I decided less than 90 days ago to sell our house and move to Orlando, and in less than 48 hours we hit the road with our moving truck. We already have our annual passes purchased and we are ready to Disney all the time!!!!!
