Disney Gives Update for the New Disney Skyliner System

Disney announced the Disney Skyliner transportation system this past summer at the D23 Expo, and now we're getting more information about the systems and the Skyliner stations at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and three resort hotels.

The Disney Skyliner gondola-style cars will feature Disney characters from films, attractions, and more.

The station at Epcot's International Gateway will be themed after the European Pavilions and will feature glass canopies, murals, and other Art Nouveau styles. Guests will also get a "birds-eye view" of the World Showcase!

The Skyliner station at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be the hub for the system where guests can transfer to other destinations. This station will be styled like the tropical-themed buildings at the resort.

Disney's Art of Animation and Pop Century Resorts will share a Skyliner station, and guests will soar over Hourglass Lake en route to their destination.

Guests traveling to Hollywood Studios from Caribbean Beach will get a new "aerial perspective" of the park's attractions.

There will also be a Skyliner turn-station along Buena Vista Drive.

No opening date for the Skyliner has been announced.

I'm so torn on the Skyliner. On one hand I'm really excited about the new direct transportation system, on the other I am scared to death of heights and I'm not so sure this is the transportation for me.

I'm excited about it. I stay at Pop the most so I can see using this a lot in the future.
