When talking about Disney Dining there's often a big focus on what's for dinner, sometimes we tend to forget that there are other meals in the day. At heart, I'm a breakfast girl, and some of you out there may be as well, after all "they" say it's our most important meal. I love all sorts of breakfast foods, and with late nights at the park my family tends to sleep in and often we don't even get out of the room before 10:00am.
Walt Disney World has some fantastic places to find a hearty morning meal that will start your day off right. So let's take a look at some of the fantastic in park, table service restaurants!
Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace
At the heart of the Magic Kingdom, the Crystal Palace has been serving up a great American style buffet, and fun with characters since I was a little girl. Currently this is the place to dine with Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Woods. For early risers, booking a meal here before the Magic Kingdom opens is a great opportunity for "empty park" photo ops.
Epcot - Akershus
We reviewed this one just a couple of weeks ago, and think that it's THE place to share a meal with the Princesses. With an impressive Norwegian koldtbord and a hot American breakfast served family style, the food is sure to satisfy the picky and adventurous eater alike. Plus, Akershus serves some brilliant morning cocktails the character interaction is above par to other experiences even without children along.
Animal Kingdom - Tusker House
Donald's Safari Breakfast gets rave reviews from the folks on our member forum. It features all-you-care-to-enjoy Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, honey-glazed ham and unique, flavorful dishes with an African influence. Stop by and start your morning safari with Disney favorites.
Hollywood Studios - Hollywood & Vine
Breakfast is a little harder to find in this Park with most guests grabbing a bite at the Starring Rolls Cafe. However, if you're up for typical American buffet foods accompanied by the fun of Disney Junior Characters, then this is the spot. Hollywood & Vine also serves breakfast until 11:30am making this a fantastic option for late sleepers.
Guests dining with the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan may consider have a late breakfast to have a bonus. By eating during the 10:00am - 11:30am breakfast time it give a little leeway in your credits. With a late morning meal you can often skip lunch all together and save that extra credit to use on a Disney Signature Dining experience!
A big thanks to our friends at Disney Food Blog for exclusive use of their pictures. Do you have a favorite place to have an leisurely breakfast in the Parks? Leave a comment below and let us know where your favorite place to start the day is!

I've only had two breakfasts in the parks.
Cinderella's Royal Table which is a wonderful experience and Tusker House. TH had the best scrambled eggs and I couldn't get enough of the juice.

Crystal Palace is a favorite for my teenager and myself, we go every trip.
Wolfgang Puck Express is another great breakfast option over at Downtown Disney - Breakfast Pizza!! YUM!
We also love the Grand Floridian Cafe breakfast as well as Whispering Canyon!

WDWforGrownups and all you could come up with was 4 over priced character breakfasts. I followed a link to this site from DFB, and I was really looking forward to a good article. Color me disappointed.

OOh, now I have to try that Crystal Palace breakfast - it sounds divine. One that I love is the Character Breakfast at O'hana, Polynesian Resort. You get family style yumminess and a chance to see Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. The food is divine and the kids loved doing a conga line with Mickey!
