Recent news out of Walt Disney World has it that certain resorts are giving free WiFi a trial.
At this time, it looks like the free WiFi service isn't available at all resorts. Here is a list of those that are giving the new free service a trial run:
As mentioned, the service is currently being piloted by Disney, however there are rumors the free WiFi will continue even after the set end date. Sources are reporting resorts are in the process of installing equipment to make the service permanent.

When we were there last week (AKL Kidani), the wifi was a bit iffy. One day it didn't work at all, the next it worked fine. The wired connection in the room worked just fine with a travel router, so there's still that fallback position until they get the bugs worked out of the system.

We will be at AKL here in a couple weeks, and I plan on still taking my MiFi. Even when we were wired... it seemed using our cell phones 3G connection was much faster than AKL's wired internet. So while I'm happy they have wireless... I'm not expecting too much out of it.
