Winter Holiday Season at the Walt Disney World Resort Includes Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and More

In a little less than a month the winter holiday season gets underway at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for November 7 at the Magic Kingdom.

This special ticketed event happens on select nights through December 19 and guests will be able to enjoy Mickey's Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa on Main Street, U.S.A., a holiday version of Celebrate the Magic, and Holiday Wishes nighttime fireworks.

For the first time (in forever) Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf from Frozen will be part of Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, along with skaters and ice cutters from the Kingdom of Arendelle.

Tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are available at WaltDisneyWorld.com or at 407-WDW-7679.

Beginning November 5, Queen Elsa will use her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace during the 'Castle Dream Lights' celebration and 'A Frozen Holiday Wish' stage show.

In Epcot the JOYFUL! A Gospel Celebration of the Seasons begins November 28 and runs through December 29 at the Future World Fountain Stage. This show blends Gospel and inspirational music with jazz, R&B, and urban music.

Guests at Epcot can also enjoy the Gingerbread Village at The Land pavilion, special food and beverage selections around the parks, and Holidays Around the World in the World Showcase pavilions.
