Arnold Palmer to take over Disney Golf Courses

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Arnold Palmer Golf Management will be taking over the operations of Disney Golf Courses for the next 20 years. This move allows Disney to revitalize it's courses and golf reputation by bringing in one of the premier golf outlets to manage the facilities, as well as increase revenue through leasing and profit sharing the courses. Disney is also hoping that through the "Palmer Advantage" members only golf club will bring in new guests that haven't previsouly considered Disney as a golfing destination. About 300 current Disney cast members that work with the courses will be offered lateral moves within the company.

I still remember being able to walk with him down in Augusta Georgia while he was playing at The Masters and just chatting with him about stuff.... he is such a nice guy and appreciates his fans.

we love him too, my son is a huge golfer and we go to Bayhill every year. He's a great role model.
Always felt like Disney golf is under rated, maybe this will help. Could be some good changes. We're getting Logan the premium annual pass next yr so that he can golf oak trail for free while we do the parks.

See... I live here in Columbus, Ohio... home of one of the most arrogant golfers, Golden Bear Jack. Cant stand him. To me he was the opposite of what Palmer was, and maybe that was what he wanted. So around here tons of people are Jack fans, while my family is Palmer... lol. So when we got to walk with him it was huge.

Funny thing... Palmer walked right up Hole 3 with us, and Jack was pared with him as well... Jack walked up the middle as possible while Palmer was mingling. LOVED IT!
