The Best of Disney results

A few weeks ago I started a thread about the Disney Food Blog best of Disney poll...

and not the results are in......here.......

I have to say I agree with almost all of them! LeCellier is the obvious one for me (I think it's overrated)..and I've never been to Sunshine Seasons! Best Counter Service at Disney...I am REALLY going to have to try that place on this trip.

What do you guys think? How does the poll compare to your tastes?

I think Le Cellier is really good, but I don't think it's worthy of the signature 2-ticket upgrade. I don't think we'll go back there because of that.

You really should check out Sunshine Seasons next time - we really like it.

But I think I could agree with most of the poll results. Though I am disappointed Cosmic Rays had no representation! Hmph! biggrin

I think there are several places in World Showcase that are better CS than Sunshine Seasons. Although maybe I just tried the wrong stuff at Sunshine Seasons. There are so many dishes there.

I wonder if we are just in a rut. Any good CS places you would highly recommend in WS? We need to branch out. mickey

Jeff,

I know that you asked Bella, but I thought I'd chime in.

There are a few good counter service at WS. I like Yakitori House (Japan) and Tangerine Cafe (Morocco--lamb shwarma!). You cannot beat Kringla Og Bakeri (sp?) (Norway) for dessert.

I don't remember off hand the name of the place (I'm SURE plenty of people here do), but the CS in China has AWESOME egg rolls.

I actually had a surprisingly good meal at Sommerfest in Germany, Jeff. Have you tried there?

The lotus blossom..yum yum yum! I love going there and getting the two egg rolls. I get one and Dave gets one. I don't even care what's in them..they are just so good. They have an awesome strawberry slush type thing that is really good there as well.

Jeff..have you tried the Tangerine Cafe In Morocco? It's wonderful! I also like Cantina de San Angel but I haven't been there since the changes.

We're straying wildly from the original subject (what's new with me, right?) but I love the Joy of Tea slushies, esp the plum wine green tea one! Although it has been a little strange lately. Salty, actually.

The peach oolong ice tea slushee or whatever it's called is my second favorite treat at Disney (other than Dole Whip, of course!)

This is a great point. I bet a top 5 would be more interesting, because the first place winners are going to be pretty clear-cut, but the second favorites start to get more diverse.

Where is the Joy of Tea?

Goodness today I am being slapped in the face with Disney names I don't know!
