Contemporary Question

Hi Everyone,

My fiance and I are in the process of designing our honeymoon to WDW. We're doing a bit of hotel hopping because there are so many places we want to enjoy. So far, here is how our trip looks:

Wed - Friday: Grand Floridian
Friday - Tuesday: The Contemporary
Tuesday - Saturday: AKL 1 Bedroom Villa, savanna view

We're not sure what to get at the Contemporary:

1) A 1 Bedroom Bay Lake Villa /w MK view
- or -
2) A concierge tower w/ MK view

Which would you choose and why? (We don't want to try each one - we're
already switching hotels a lot throughout the trip.)

I think if it's your honeymoon you go with the MK view. Unless you've done an MK view before?

Trouble is = they're both MK views.

I need to read the question more closely! I saw Bay Lake Villa and read Bay Lake View. Sorry!

BLT will give you some extra space, right? Will you have any use for that? The deluxe rooms tend to be plenty big. Are the prices the same?

It's only a difference of $20.00. This is one of the few times I'll ever say this - money isn't a concern. We've been saving for this for two years.

We see pros and cons of each one.

Villa = More room and washer/dryer
Tower = Being in the middle of things with concierge services

Well I'll tell you this, you can't make a wrong choice. They're both great options. The washer and dryer are a nice plus, but you can do your laundry a few days later in the AKL. I think I'd go with the BLT just to try out the new place. Do you think you'd use any of the concierge benefits? We always eat so much that the food they have around wouldn't do us any good anyway.

Well, that jacuzzi tub in the one-bedroom WOULD be nice.... but the concierge services and free food is pretty great, too! I think I'd go with the Concierge room -- nothing beats being IN the actual Contemporary tower and having such quick access to the restaurants and shops in the Contemporary. I know you'd just be a bit farther away on the sky bridge, but I do like the luxury of the concierge...

For my honeymoon..conceirge no question! I love the BLT Villas..they look so wonderful and fancy..and like Annie said that tub would be nice..but on my honeymoon I wanted to be spoiled!
