Curiosity

All of a sudden I started to wonder what all of us do when we are at one of the parks and am not talking about rides am talking about off the wall stuff that some of us may not think of but would love to do or tours that we just haven't done yet.
So for me I'll start with some of my wish lists again no rides:

MK-
Keys to the Kingdom tour

Epcot -
Fireworks Cruise

Hollywood Studios -
Dine with an Imagineer

Animal Kingdom -
Rivers of Light

Disney Springs -
??

Resorts:
??

And all the answers could be based on different seasons like Halloween, Xmas and etc

Thanks

It's not uncommon for me to spend time at Disney without doing any rides; I'm all about shopping, eating, and taking pictures. I do love to take Disney's boat transportation, I could just ride around the lake for hours on a boat, the Epcot to DHS trip at night is my favorite. I love soaking up the atmosphere at the Polynesian, and I often start a monorail crawl with drinks at the lounge. I also enjoy stopping at the Disney Spas for a little pampering.

Thanks Kristen...adding that boat ride and shopping of course Smile and the spa...I love getting a spa treatment when on vacation but never thought of doing that on a Disney vacation...so I will look into that for sure. And I already have the monorail crawl down..thanks for some additional add on's...now if I will have all the time I need will be a different story. LOL

The Spas at WDW are on the expensive side.

Several of the behind the scenes tours are reasonably priced. Behind the Seeds in The Land at Epcot is probably the cheapest and easiest to book. At $20 per adult with discounts available for AP and DVC members, there are nine times available each day. I have done it twice and would do it again! On my June trip we had breakfast at The Garden Grill, did the Behind the Seeds Tour and then rode Living With The Land. So we saw the boat ride from above, and behind the scenes as well as on the ride itself. Highly recommend it!

Keys to the Kingdom and Marceline Tour are both excellent. Keys is a five hour walking tour which includes lunch and Marceline is three hours. Marceline is the cheaper of the two and AP and DVC discounts apply to both. Keys includes the coveted trip to the utilidors!! I have done Marceline twice and Keys once. Would be willing to do both again!

A little known but lovely afternoon is Wednesdays at Jikos at Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo for South African wine (and cheese) tasting. Have only done it once but would be willing to do it again. I don't remember the exact price but it was pretty reasonable.

Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, while not inexpensive was great fun. I look forward to taking my grand children!

We have done other tours but these were the most memorable and the most reasonably priced.

Wine and cheese seems right up our alley will be checking on that...Thanks for your list. I have only done the Marceline tour and we are planning to do the keys to the kingdom.

Most of the tours you can get a Disney Visa discount on as well. Always ask when booking!

I have the Jiko Wine tasting booked. I can't remember the exact price but it seems like it was 35-40 maybe.

In all of the parks we like to sit with popcorn and a coke and just people watch. You spot awesome Disney Bounding outfits. Magical moments. Children seeing Disney for the first time. Older couples with matching shirts, holding hands and acting like kids. All kinds of stuff. MK is my favorite park for doing this!

Keys to the Kingdom I LOVED!!
Behind the Seeds was great.
The Floridian Express was awesome!

I know a few of the resorts do tours and now I want to add a few more into my rotation.

JMed oHio mentioned the wine tasting so I printed out the information and it great as we are 4 adults who drink wine but I couldn't find a price so I called Disney and was told it is $31.95. So I will wait to hear your review on this. I can't wait to do Keys to the Kingdom.what is Floridian Express?

I wrote about it in my trip report (Blondie goes to golf camp)

It's about an hour long tour of the Grand Floridian Resort. It details the influences on the hotel and the "story" of the resort. It was quite interesting and since I was the ONLY person on the tour it was a little off script and we did a little more than normal.

You get to see inside Victoria & Alberts (I may never eat here since I told Joe how much it is) and you get samples of the Strawberry SOup and the Coconut Macaroons!

The cost is $15 and they offer the AP/DVC discount also. This is the picture collage from the trip report
