Disney collections???

Do you have any strange or interesting Disney collections? I like to collect things to do with the Disney villains. I am also collecting the trash can signs from all the lands! I would love to hear about your different and interesting Disney collections. mickey

No collections for me yet, although perhaps on our upcoming trip I will be inspired to start a new one! I love history so it would probably be some old Disney Memorabilia and not something I could just purchase in the parks.

My sister and I both received Disney snow globes each Christmas for the first 22 years if our lives, so mine are proudly placed in a curio mickey Most of them are from the popular movie of that year, but my favorite has all the Disney cats on one side and dogs on the other

What a great idea! Every year I get the children a new Christmas ornament for the tree, and myself a new snow globe. Maybe my snow globe collection will be modified to be a Disney snow globe every year! biggrin

It is at 105 right now. As you can guess, this pin is getting to be more and more difficult to find.

I don't think I have anything strange or unusual...I have close to 2300 pins some on boards, most in drawers or bags. I have Disney watches, D23 Magazines, Disney Magazines, Disney coins, stamps, figurines, ornaments, ears, magnets. There's something Disney in every room of our house.

My latest is Disney Infinity figures...since this picture was taken i've added probably 7 more figures.

I've tried a few things, but nothing has caught on with me yet. But I'm trying! silly I have a box of pins that I like, but never really got caught up in collecting and trading. I didn't like the lanyard thing, and they kept falling off. LOL I tried Vinylmation a bit, but ... I'm still looking!

Did you try the "screw" on backs you need the little allen key to get off? We kept loosing ours too until someone told us about those!

Save your money. Go to a place such as Michaels and buy earring backs. Those are a lot more secure, they don't stick out as much, and they are a lot cheaper. And, you don't need an Allen wrench.

Yeah, I have my pins on my bag and such attached with those. I guess I should say, "permanently attached." That tiny Allen wrench is long gone. laugh

I'm sitting in a room that is, for all intense purposes, wall-to-wall Disney Villains...Disney Villain Desk Set (Cruella Stapler, Evil Queen Tape Dispenser, Ursula Pencil/Pen Holder, SW Hag Paper Clip Holder); various Villain Christmas Ornaments on Display Stands; pewter Villain statues; several Villain Snowglobes, a Villain Castle...actually two; Villain Mugs; Villain Little People toy cars and the various (Barbie-type) dolls); Coaster sets; framed artwork, including an Evil Queen sketch and a montage sketch piece with several villains; candy bowls, cookie jars, puzzles, games, books, mini-bean bag plushes, and a special made valance for the window...oh, and the stocking on the door.

I have other Disney things in other rooms, but the Villains are my fav collection.

It's my favorite room in the house. My DH rarely goes in there, but he's also not as addicted to the computer as I am. We both use the laptop downstairs more than anything now, but I work on school stuff in my Villain office.

I forgot my new ornament. We went to Crystal Arts on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom in January. We watched the glass blowing demonstration and then had him create an ornament for us. It's spherical and done with colors to remind us of Maleficent...my favorite villain. They can use any color combinations...they just can't call them by the character's name. They've only been granted permission for certain characters and items.

Wow, your new ornament sounds fantastic! Maleficent is clearly my favourite villain too!! I didn't know that they could make pieces especially designed for you. I am going back in July and will defiantly look into that. Thank you so much for mentioning it.
Its also great to know I'm not the only one who likes the villains better than the other characters. I have a wall at home which is covered in Disney drawing which are all villains and my Disney ornaments are all villains! the only other character I like is Mickey!!!! Villains rule!!!!!
