Disney + exercise

I asked in the other thread why I ever gain weight in Disney World (I'm walking ALL THE TIME), and it made me wonder who takes time to do isolated exercise in Disney World.

I see people jogging all the time, and the deluxes and CSR have workout rooms (which I have been known to use from time to time, and DW loves the saunas).

Do you??

I used to when I was really into working out hardcore. But since then, I've loosened up a little (ok, a lot), and now a gym is the last place I want to find myself while on vacation at WDW.

You can see from our trip report that we hit the gym pretty much every day. We also eat 2-3 giant meals per day, so that explains it! (Wonder of wonders, I think I only gained about 3 pounds on this last trip.)

I've been trying to add more and more to my trips, just because I don't want to think of Disney trips as something I can't do very often without getting fat(ter). It's difficult of course, because eating is one of my favorite things to do there.

I enjoy jogging when I'm not under time pressures from work and daily life, AND when I'm able to explore new places, so jogging at Disney World is a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend my time.

It also makes me feel like I live there, which is fun. The few times I stayed at the Epcot resorts, I always played with the idea of going for a run around World Showcase right when it opened (before all the people migrate over there from Future World).

Then you can talk about how you jogged all the way from France to Norway!
