Em's LONG awaited Trip Report

okay.. I've held off as long as I can trying not to bombard you all with my excitement!! But I can't take it anymore.. the week is here!!

Started packing last night... just need to pack the hubs (he will probably wait until 5 minutes before we leave to start packing..) and pack all of my getting ready stuff and I'm READY TO GO!!

We get to Orlando Friday afternoon and are driving up to the Mt. Dora/Eustis area (about 45 minutes away) to spend the weekend with my aunt/uncle, cousins and their families... my cousin just had a baby yesterday so I am so excited to get some time to love on him!! They are pastor's of a church there so after church Sunday we are headed to Disney!! First stop, DTD and Earl of Sandwich!!!

Well I wont get ahead of myself and give my whole trip away before I get there...

Thanks for all of your awesome advice these past few months, I feel so much more prepared knowing all your tips and secrets!! And it'll be nice to add my own little input on things when I get back and have actually experienced the world!!

Let the countdown begin.....

I'm so jealous. That was one of my favorite things about my trip to Kauai...barely ever touched my computer.

lol! I know horrible aren't I...besides the fact that my laptop is ancient and would probably take the entire week to load one picture.. haha... I'm sure our iphones will provide endless entertainment =)

well... its here! We leave tomorrow morning for the airport about 9:45, then we will be on a plane for Orlando!!! I think I am MORE than prepared...but I guess we will find out! I have read every book I can get my hands on, been through every Disney website I could find MULTIPLE time, read about each attraction, studied touring guides (which is the one thing I dont plan on following while we are there..), planned our tentative schedule around crowd calendars, printed off our ADR conf #'s... I dont think there is anything else I can do while I'm sitting here bored at work today...nothing else to learn before I leave...come on 5:00 so my vacation can start!!!!

Have a fantastic time and don't forget to think of our poor members (me) that are here looking out at a yuck snowstorm yuck and be sure to say hi to subvet for me.

Today the big day!!! Packed and on our way to the airport... But leave it to our luck there are all kinds of tornado warnings in the northern part of the county... Praying our flight doesn't get delayed or cancelled!!

Getting ready to board our plane!! Our flight wasn't delayed but pray for the people here... A tornado came through the same path it did during all the horrible storms last April and did some damage to a high school... More storms coming so keep everyone in your thoughts and prayer... Everyone stays on edge now because of the 200+ tornados that's destroyed so much last year.....

Now positive Disney thoughts!!!!!!! Smile

We are here!!! Officially! We had a wonderful visit with my side of the family this weekend... Got to Disney about noon today and headed straight to Downtown Disney to have lunch at Earl of Sandwich! The line was CRAZY long but we only waited about 15/20 minutes. I got the meatball sub and it was awesome! Then we headed to Goofys Candy Co. to get some custom rice crispe treats... Haven't eaten them yet but they look yummy! Got all checked in at POP... We are in the 60s building... With 2 double beds Sad more about our awful trav agent later! So as I'm typing this we are on the bus to Epcot!! So excited!! Going to Ohana for dinner and EMH at MK til 2am!!! Smile

Disney magic is already rubbing off Smile

I was wondering when you were going to start checking in! I've been checking your Facebook page regularly and only saw you were in Florida. Glad you enjoyed your family time. Now, go and absorb all of that Disney love!!!

Good Morning!! So i guess i should warn you before I start my reports that I am a VERY detailed oriented person and will probably give some long day reports, so I apologize beforehand Smile Brandon is stil snoozing so I figured I would update all if you before I drag him out if bed.... Yesterday was so much fun! Last I left off we were headed to Epcot....

So we got to Epcot and had about 3 hours before we had to leave for our dinner reservations. We stayed in future world and did all of the rides that didn't have a long wait (so everything but Soaring, Test Track, Misson Space and Ellens Energy Adventure). We didnt wait in line at all! It was so awesome to just walk onto every ride... We also hit club cool. I made Brandon try the Beveryly first.. He almost spit it across the room! Haha! I took a sip and almost gagged! It was HORRIBLE!!!! So we left Epcot and headed to O'Hana for dinner. I was not expecting it to be as incredible as it was..... WOW is all I can say... I could definitely eat there again.. I was not excited about the dessert because I'm not a big fan of bread pudding, but oh my gosh it was the greatest thing I have ever eaten in my life!!!!!!!!!! O'Hana is definitely on our list of must do resturaunts every time we come back!

MK had EMH hours until 2am so we headed there after dinner... I was so excied when we hit Main Street and turned the corner to see the castle.... It was beautiful!!!! Our plan was to ride a coulple of rides and head back to the room because we were cold (it was freezing last night, I'm sure they sold the heck out of some sweatshirts!!!) and exhausted.... But we would pass a ride and just had to do it! Haha! We did the Laugh Floor, Carousel of Progress, jungle cruise, Pirates of the Carribean, & Splash Mountain (my favorite!!!).. I had promised Brandon we would go after that but decided we should do Space Mountain since the lines were short and all... On our way there we found the Haunted Mansion and did that instead. The we headed back to the hotel and got to our room about 12:45...

Whew!! It was a fun eventful day!!! We are off to Animal Kingdom today and the weather here is PERFECT!!!!
