Is Hershey more of a planned community? Does the company have a lot to do with city government?

Yes, it was planned by Milton S. Hershey as a place for his employees to live and raise their families. I'm not sure what the inner workings of the government look like though.

We were at Hershey for a day in late summer just to get out. I would LOVE to go back to the park this summer and to see more of the town.

Back on topic - we have had GREAT service at Chevy's. If you don't know Chevy's, it is a Mexican Chain. The one by us has amazing service - I don't think we have ever had a bad server there! I had a bad meal and they were great about making it up to us. The waitstaff also makes sure your meal is spaced out which rarely happens at chains at this level (ex. we got soup and had an entree that does not take long to cook, so he put the soup in and waited until we were done with it to put in our meal).

That's a good point Caitie; the timing of your courses is an oft overlooked part of good service. Your apps should, of course, come before your entrees. Your entrees should come out hot and fresh, not fresh from the heat lamp as they've been sitting there for ten minutes while you ate your appetizer (our soup, salad, what have you).

I hate when I'm not finished with my appetizer and my entree comes -- the server always tries to take my appetizer away, and then it ends up being a juggling fest to get all of the dishes on the table.

Great point, Caitie!

Good pacing is pivotal. Although I find some of the fancier restaurants actually space it too far apart. Too much dead time makes the meal feel like an ordeal.
