Fantasmic

I am contemplating checking out Fantasmic this year. Kids will be 7, 4 and 3

Problem
is, I kind of need to have my trip planned out by the end of Oct - for
making dinner ressies, but we're not going until 4/30 - 5/8 so I won't know when the shows will be just yet... waiting

We had that problem too! They could change it seven times between now and then!

Hmm... good question! And, yes, they are changing it up often. The fantasmic two-times-per-week was in place this year, so maybe look at what they were doing during May 2008. Make some ressies that can be changed on the evenings you think they might have fantastmic.

I've heard tell that disney's going to start releasing park hours 180 days in advance again (like the ADRs). Fingers crossed for you!

You would think if they start planning other things 180 days in advance, they have to, by implication plan pretty much everything.

I vote 'Yes' for Fantasmic. We did it and it was terrific. It is one of those do it once but probably not again. We did ours with a dinner package deal at Brown Derby...

We definitely don't do Fantasmic every time, because of the hassles it can have, but I'd probably say it's an every 2nd or 3rd trip thing. Maybe more like 3rd or 4th. More often than the Great Movie Ride! laugh

I think we'll be doing it sans the dinner package.

I think it'll be a good experience for us - since we've never seen it!
