The last time we went on the dinner package, we were seated on towards the right side (facing the stage) of the amphitheater and they were great seats though not in the very middle, though middle may be what a lot of people prefer.

Same here VL, that is the normal spot for the package seats, I didn't think they were bad a all though. There really isn't a bad seat there at all I think. The dinner package is the only way we would do it again since they only show it twice a week now. Also thats a good night to do the parks while the show is going on, most rides are either empty or low line wait times.

I really enjoyed the Fantasmic dinner package @ Brown Derby! The seats were no better or worse than the seats you could hope to get after standing in line for hour(Drunk, so why not just skip it? Like previously mentioned, seats are right side/middle.

So basically, my vote is: do it. It's a good value for all the food you get at Brown Derby AND you don't have to be included in that wonderful heard of cattle going into Fantasmic.

When you're going during a busy time -- or if you just really want to be sure you get seating -- the dinner package is a great idea. Overall, it doesn't cost any more than the regular dinner would, does it? confused

Anyway, we love Brown Derby! Have you eaten there before?

I want to say we paid something like $40pp for the Brown Derby Package - which included an app, entree, and dessert for each person! Let me just say we got WAY more than $40 of food each, considering entrees alone are in the $30 range. We also got a photo of each of us (yikes) complimentary, which I'm not sure is part of the meal or part of the package.

Hmmmm, with two children, I'm thinking this may be a good idea! I would hate to wait in line with them! Last time we were at WDW, I heard the line for Fantasmic was 2 hours!

I have the Fantasmic Dinner Package booked for November for The Brown Derby as well. I'm looking forward to seeing the show. I missed it last year.

Brown Derby is my new favorite place to eat in DHS. Really enjoyed it last time and 50's Prime Time (my previous favorite) has gone downhill. Have you been to the Brown Derby before?

I agree with Admin..if it is a busy time than the Fantasmic package is a great idea. We did it at Christmas once and it saved our lives. The crowds to get into Fantasmic were out of control. We did it another time in February and it totally wasn't nessacery. We could have walked in ten minutes before the show and had good seats.

So..if you are going during a busy time? Yes!
Are you going during a non-busy time but want to eat at one of those restaurants anyway? Then do it.
Are you just booking it to get good seats in a non-peak time? Skip it.
