Hi all! Questions

Hi guys, how is everyone doing? Not sure if its okay to post in here, so please excuse me if its not. My younger brother 24 is looking to move to Florida from Michigan and just last week scheduled an interview with Disney. Hes going there next week - WDW Casting Center-1515 E. Buena Vista Dr. I am not 100% sure on it as its going to cost a little money to go there and hes just going for an interview (no confirmed job). Any input/suggestions? I want him to succeed and be happy in whatever he does just don't want him to get his hopes up.

I just interviewed last Wednesday! ...and I got a full time job! But I did the college program internship back in 2009, so I already had a good knowledge of what it would take. But right now is a really good time to be interviewing since they will need lots of people for the crazy summer months!

However, keep in mind that if he does get the job, it will take quite a bit of money to get started (car, apartment...) So if money is a big issue, it may not be the best thing to do.

But tell him I said good luck! what position is he interviewing for?

Hi and welcome! Jessi is right - starting up a career at Disney is like relocating anywhere, and will take a little money to begin for deposits, and moving expenses. I would say that he should be himself during the interview, and let his passion for Disney and love for people shine through. Best of luck to him!

Thanks for the input! awesome

He is applying for a steward (dishwashing) position. Hes worked in a restaurant before as a dishwasher and really liked it. Hes always wanted to move to Florida too so I hope it works out.

I will be helping him with relocating costs and such if he does get it so no worries with that, just will be a huge change from here in Michigan.
