Thanks All went well, and I am on the mend. I should have had this surgery a year ago - what a difference!
I got Vicoden this time - makes me itch all over

Ooh - that's not good! Have you stopped taking it and requested something else?

Nah - they said I can take Benadryl if I want to help manage the itching, but so far I can deal with it.
I had a torn meniscus, and they had to smooth out some bone spurring on the kneecap. And they did some weird thing where they took some blood, ran it through a centrifuge and re-injected the good stuff back into the patella to heal that.
The post-op pictures are not very bloody and gory else I'd post them

Jeff I am really happy that Vicodin just makes you itch. I found out the hard way that Vicodin is not for me. About 10 years ago I had a real bad medical problems when I came back up north from a drag race in VA. It had snowed slightly in MA. and when I got out of the race car hauler I slipped on the ice, fell hard on my head and was knocked out and remember NOTHING for at least a half hour. When I came to I was taken to a hosp. where the ER Dr. said I had other problems as well as the concussion and he prescribed the aforementioned Vicodin. I had a very bad reaction to it and was climbing the walls and going nutzo at home. My wife had to come home from work, and stuff me in the car to return me to the ER, IT WAS NOT FUN.

Didn't you go to Slippery Rock? Strange question, I went to Edinboro and we had a Dole Whip machine in the cafeteria. That's the last time I had it until we moved here and discovered it at Disney. I was so excited when we found it here, I had forgotten about it and how good it was! Just wondering if it was in all the PA state schools.
