I leave for the world tomorrow morning!!!!!! I have heard from loose sources that if you have on your magic band when you get off the plane, you don't have to stand in that huge waiting line to register for the bus. Is there any truth to this? And, if so, where do I go if I don't need to wait in the line? Straight to the buses?
Drummer1 yes that is right you need to have on your MagicBand when you go to catch the Magical express. Once they scan your MagicBand they will tell you what line to get in. Now understand there will still be a line to get scanned. Last year in October it wasn't too long but none the less it was a line.

Unless your from the UK..Our bands will be at our resort at WDW but we still have a magical express bus to catch..
I just came back and they didn't do anything with our bands. We just got in line using our paper tickets. We had our bands and everything but I didn't even see them scanning anyones bands.
Have not done this since the magic bands but they used to send you the tickets with the luggage tags,so I would assume if you got no paper tickets then your magic band should be your ticket

They still send the paper tickets.
I've used DME twice with magic bands. Both times, they scanned my band before getting in line and again before getting on the bus. The magic bands do make using DME a breeze.
They scanned our bands in October and then we went to our queue for ME.
