What's Your Favorite Part of Downtown Disney

I was at Downtown Disney earlier this week, when we met friends for dinner. We at the West End, so I got to see all the signs for Splitsville, and the "street" all lit up. Cirque de Soleil was so beautiful! It had been a long time since I had seen it like that.

When you visit Downtown Disney, do you venture all the way down to West Side? Or do you stay in the Marketplace area? It seems like it's getting busier...parking always seems to be hard to get at the Marketplace end these days.

My few trips to DTD have mostly been to the Marketplace. I did go to the West Side to see La Nouba in 2010.

We love to eat at Wolfgang Pucks, so we do venture down to that side. I would say that other than that, we typically stay on the marketplace side.

For our recent trips... we have only gotten as far as T-Rex. When I found out the guitar shop was gone (Should had been more than 10 years ago because I was looking forward to it in 2002, and saw it was gone)

How did you find T-Rex, Mase?

Robert, you hit two of my favorites. We finally did Cirque last trip and loved it (although the chair is not very friendly to people with long legs and bad knees). Raglan Road is an all around great time.

We found it when looking at places to eat at at DTD on the Disney website before we went 3 years ago. We thought our kids would just love it. Our last trip was the first time we didnt go

We rarely venture to the Marketplace..which is sad because every time we've gone that way we've had a great time. I just love all the shops and eating on the Market side. SO good!

We always go to the West Side, but rarely do much over there. I feel like its almost all restaurants, but if I'm in DTD I want EoS. One of my friends works at D-Street on West Side so I always try to go see him.

We usually eat at one of the table service restaurants. I love to go in all the shops and then we go to Disney Quest. My husband and son love that place. Its one of give and takes; if I get to shop then they get to play. After all marriage is all about compromise.

Love the Marketplace best, but we always park at the West side and walk down to the Marketplace. That way we make sure to see everything.

This year we also have tics to Cirque - so excited!

Oh wow! You will come out of there in amazement of some of the stuff they do, and I am not an opera person, in any way, shape , or form, but I truly loved the music, it was spell binding.

We probably spend most of out time around the Market place, but pretty much every time we hit DTD we walk it end to end! So we'll set foot on the West Side but definatly don't spend as much time there!

Cirque is amazing, we're hopefully seeing it again next trip as my brother has yet to experience it!
