From their famous tie-dye cheesecake to their flower-shaped pool Disney's Pop Century Resort is a favorite among guests looking to stay at a budget friendly Disney resort.
Here are 3 reasons why we love the Pop Century Resort!
1. Atmosphere. Who doesn't love a giant rubix cube or a staircase designed to look like a cell phone? The theming and atmosphere of the Pop Century resort is one of the reasons why we love it. Featuring icons and memories from the 20th century the Pop Century is a fun resort for all ages.
2. The Food. The Pop Century's Everything Pop Food Court is one of the highlights of the Pop Century resort. From the fun decor, video game tables, and variety of menu options it is easy to see why. Some of our favorites include the tie-dye cheesecake (of course!), Mom's Night Out TV Dinners, and the infamous waffles!
3. Pools. The Pop Century boasts three pools each uniquely themed to the decade it represents. In the 1950s section of the resort sits the Bowling Pin Pool. Shaped like a bowling pin and complete with racks of bowling balls
The main pool at the Pop Century is the Hippy Dippy Pool which sits in the 1960s section of the resort. Shaped like a flower, complete with water squirting daisies, a wading pool, a ping pong table, a hair wrapping station, and Petals Pool Bar is the perfect place for the whole family to have a great time!
The Computer Pool is located in the 1990s section of the resort and features a 4-story laptop computer showing the latest Disney news (from the year the resort opened of course.)

I love the theming of the resort. The last two years I stayed in the 50's section and loved walking by the Lady and the Tramp statues. Pool time was spent by the Hipppy Dippy pool.
It's fun being the food court when the CM start doing the twist. I haven't seen them do the hustle yet in the lobby but maybe this year I'll see it.

I haven't had a chance to stay at Pop yet, but I'm thinking it might be the place for me for our Fall Trip!
