Our article about five "must have" pictures to take at the Magic Kingdom was such a hit I thought that I'd revisit it with a look at some fantastic photography that is a must have for Epcot guests. These suggestions are just the beginning of ides for things to shot in this fantastic park, so grab your camera and have some fun "Makin' Memories."
Spaceship Earth: The icon of Disney's Epcot theme park, Spaceship Earth is the number one "must have" photo at Epcot. There are many ways to shot the giant geodesic sphere in both day and night. My favorite is when I can capture the colorful rainbow of light in the evening.
Moroccan Archway: This beautiful archway in classic Moroccan tile work not only welcomes you to move deeper into the pavilion, but is one of the most seen pictures in Flickr galleries about Epcot. It's unique visual not only highlights the archway, but if it's shot right you can get in the colorful tangerine trees as well as the classical fountain.
Japan's Torii Gate: The staging of this shot can capture the magical transition from the profane to the sacred. Looking from the promenade of World Showcase your view crosses the Lagoon and offers the promise of tomorrow with Spaceship Earth in the distance. The Torii can offer some of the most striking Epcot Shots, especially at Twilight.
Fountains & Water Features: My favorite fountain to photograph in Epcot is at the Imagination pavilion. Not only do you does it offer a fabulous motion in the shot, but the background of imagination's glass structure in the background adds both drama and interest. The dancing waters behind spaceship earth, waterfalls in Canada, and formal fountains of France are just a few more to consider for your photos.
Characters: Epcot is a fantastic place to meet some of the more unique characters, as they inhabit their native lands around world showcase. Here you may find Mulan in China, Genie in Morocco, or Marie the Cat in France, and a bevy of Princesses! Set against the background of cultural icons, these are sure to be some of your favorite character shots throughout the years
So what "must have" photos do you like to get at Epcot? Are there any photos in particular that you cherish? Leave me a comment and let me know!

I love taking pictures of the gardens in Canada and the United Kingdom. I wish my garden at home could look like that, but sadly I don't have much of a green thumb! I also love the architecture in the United Kingdom and Germany...so quaint!
