5 Ways to Have A Disney Holiday at Home

If you're stuck at home for the holidays, like me, instead of traveling to Walt Disney World Resort all the talk of holiday happens may be leaving you feeling blue. But never fear! I've gathered my top five ways to keep the holiday spirit alive at home with just the right dose of Disney flair. It's the happiest time of the year, so why incorporate your love for the happiest place on earth?


Do Your Christmas Shopping at the Disney Store

Whether you're lucky enough to have one in your local mall, or you need to go online, the Disney Store has a wide selection of gifts just perfect for bringing some of the Disney Magic into your holiday home. We draw names for gifts at my house and my whole family knows that the Disney Store is the place to find the perfect gift for Mom.

Deck Your Halls With Disney

The Disney Store also carries great decorations for your tree, so that you can decorate with a Disney flair. From character ornaments, stockings and tree skirts to holiday party-ware and festive glasses with hidden Mickeys and holiday flair. While I'm trying to wrap gifts I usually put on something to get me in the holiday spirit. Disney has made some great holiday themed movies over the years and even though my kids are becoming older we still love watching them. Beauty and the Beast, Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas, The Santa Claus, Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse are some of our family favorites!
