Well Walt Disney World for Grown-ups has got the gadgets and gear that will help you pack your bags, protect your gear, and organize your day like never before. Check out this list of 6 Great Gadgets To Buy Before Your Next Disney Vacation. It includes some of my very favorite gizmos, whozits, and whatnots for packing my bags!
Mophie Space Pack - Mophie's most recent addition to your travel essentials not only doubles the battery life of your iPhone, it doubles the data storage. A sleek look and companion app helps this battery and storage unit in one integrates seamlessly with iTunes and photo gallery.
LASER TURBO II SUPER CHARGER 10000mAh Premium Ultra Slim Aluminum Dual USB (2.1A / 1.5A Output) Portable Power Bank External Battery Charger
Adventure Medical Kits Travel First Aid Kit - I wish I didn't have to suggest packing your own medical kit, but I've had too many vacations where someone has gotten sick or injured on the road. Adventure Medical Kits makes a range of travel packs perfect for everything from day trips to the amusement parks to week long wilderness adventures.
Eagle Creek Travel Gear Pack-It Starter Set - Packing cubes are the best travel gadget discovery that I have ever made, Eagle Creek revolutionized the way I pack my bags. Roll your clothes, keep it organized, move easily from luggage to dresser, separate the dirty. If you're a frequent traveler you've just got to give these a try.
Waterproof Underwater Pouch - A smart phone has become essential Disney touring gear and whether you're facing the waters of Typhoon Lagoon, the rapids of the Kalahari River, or simply the traditional downpour of a Florida afternoon this waterproof pouch is handy to perfect for protecting your phone.
Tarriss Jetsetter Digital Luggage Scale - With luggage fees always on the rise it's more important than ever to know what your bags weigh before you get to the airport. This light and portable digital scale will help you pack and save you money, by making sure your luggage doesn't go overweight causing you additional fees at the airport.
Trakdot Luggage Tracker - If you've ever lost your luggage, this is the gadget for you. Trakdot Luggage is the smart monitoring device that works off cellular networks to determine its city location. Trakdot Luggage monitors and reports its new location using your choice of preferences, confirming that your luggage has arrived with you. If it hasn't, Trackdot will be able to tell you (and more importantly the airline) exactly where it is.
You may notice that I have left off one of the most recent trends in travel gadgetry, the selfie stick. I am personally anti-selfie stick, and the next time you head to Disney only to be repeatedly bumped into by dozens of travelers caught up in narcissistic oblivion you'll understand too. Just say no to this new trend, instead ask a friendly cast member to take a picture of you and your family, they will be more than happy to do so.

would the traveldot work to track other things? I'm planning for a December trip, our first with our new baby. I think I've decided to bring our nice stroller because it would be better for in-park naps and carrying baby's supplies. But I am a bit paranoid about theft. I thought an inexpensive tracking device might be the solution for when we have to leave it... But they aren't all that inexpensive! Thoughts??

It could work in theory Kelsey, but I'm not quite sure how you could secure the traveldot so that it wouldn't be easily removed or fall out from the stroller. That being said - I highly recommend bringing your own stroller with you to the Parks. My kids were so much more comfortable having a "their" place traveling with them. There may be other travel tracking tags that will work better for you.

LOL to weigh my luggage I just heft it onto the people scale at home.
But I surely could use one of those phone charger things.

Kelsey, they make stroller locks similar to the things you use to lock a bike up. It works great at Disney. There's some on Amazon
