BaseLine Tap House Opens At Disney's Hollywood Studios

If you're looking for a great spot to stop in for a drink and a snack at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you may want to head over to the brand new BaseLine Tap House. The new bar is a highlight stop on the Park's reimagined Grand Avenue, a thoroughfare that will eventually lead Guests into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

California Beer & Cider Is The Star At BaseLine

Grand Avenue pays homage to modern Los Angeles, by using Streets of America style facades for some window shopping inspired by the revitalization and the vibrant culture. Located on the corner that was formerly home to Writer's Stop, the bustling bar has an industrial feel to it with just enough warmth to make it hip. Seating can be found inside the bar, but when the weather is nice I highly suggest the roomy patio for optimal people watching.

According to our friends over at the Disney Food Blog, "No matter where you choose to sip and eat, all orders are taken inside at the bar. There are no tableside servers, though your items will be bussed once you wrap up your visit. If you're taking your drinks outside, you'll receive your beverages in plastic cups, while drinks staying indoors are served in glass."

Memorabilia of the Figueroa Printing Company decorates the walls -"a mom-and-pop print house that once enjoyed a flourishing partnership with Disney Studios" guests will fine an array of vintage Disneyland references. I really love this touch, but I'm a sucker for Disneyland nostalgia. If you look closely, you just might find a few trinkets from the buildings past vestige as a coffee shop located amongst the bric-a-brac.

The menu at BaseLine Tap House is small, but packs quite a punch. Straight from the tap, California beers take center stage, but that's not all the bartenders are pulling from these lines; guests also have a choice of wine, cocktails, and gourmet soda. The adventurous will love the Create-Your-Own Beer Flight by choosing a selection of four of the nine California beers on tap.

You'll want to make sure you have a little something to nosh on while trying those fantastic brews, so BaseLine Tap House also has a variety of snacks on the menu. Order up a hot Bavarian Pretzel, California Cheese and Charcuterie, or some Spiced Nuts to tide you over until your dinner later on.
