Blanc de Bleu At The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The episode of 'Inside Disney Parks' this week took a closer look at some of the exciting finishing touches going in place for the start of the 2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. One of the segments in the video, piqued my interest for its mention of a rather unique bottle of bubble that guests will be able to taste. Disney Parks Blog author Jenn Fickley-Baker visited Proprietor of Festivals, Rick Decicco, to check out the best wines at this year's event. There she was introduced to Blanc de Bleu Cuvee Mousseux.

BLUE Sparkling Wine? I had to know more about this crazy creation.

Blanc de Bleu Cuvee Mousseux is a California sparkling wine with a dry, crisp finish and added hint of blueberry flavor. It's made using the Charmat process, and natural yeast fermentation adds bubbles that impart a pleasant pastry-like character. The fruity notes come from a combination of Chardonnay grapes and blueberry juice concentrate. Reviews of this unique celebratory sip claim it has a subtle flavor that is subtly sweet and delicious.

The Bleu SpectrumThe Bleu Spectrum

The Bleu Spectrum cocktail made its debut at the Light Lab Marketplace during the 2017 Food & Wine Festival. This cheeky drink is pretty straight forward consisting of a flute filled with Blanc de Bleu Cuvee Mousseux and multicolored Boba pearls. A popular option at Light Lab, they brought the uncommon beverage back for a second year.

Stop in at the Light Lab during the 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival to give the Bleu Spectrum a try, or head over to blancdebleuusa.com and order a bottle for home.
