I love finding hidden little gems of culinary delight around Walt Disney World. During my last trip I stumbled upon a restaurant window that turned out one of the best quick breakfasts I've eaten in years. Good's Food To Go at Disney's Old Key West Resort surprised me with a creative menu and big bold flavor.
Guests at Old Key West will find Good's Food To Go on the back side of the Hospitality House. The restaurant is small, just a couple of windows and a self-serve beverage counter where you can top up your refillable mugs. Seating is entirely outdoors, though the picnic tables along the dock offer bright blue umbrellas for some shade. Just outside the pool gates and steps from the boat launch, Good's is a great spot to grab what you need while on your way to fun.
Breakfast at Good's is served daily from 7 - 11 a.m. with a line that moves pretty fast for a little window. Good's Food To Go has a breakfast menu offers some truly unique items that make this restaurant a true hidden morning gem. The menu isn't big, but it packs in a lot of flavor with dishes like Olivia's Bread Pudding, an Egg White Fritatta, and Bacon Cheddar Quiche. Plus, like any good southern eatery there are plenty of biscuits, gravy, and grits.
My daughter and I stopped in for a quick breakfast before catching the water taxi to Disney Springs from the Old Key West boat launch. It was a spur of the moment choice and I am so glad that we did.
It was hard to decide what to order off of this fun menu, the bread pudding seemed to be calling to me, but I decided to go with the Bacon Cheddar Quiche. This individually sized egg pie looks fairly simple, but the flavors are rich and complex. A buttery crust held the perfect combination of bacon, cheese, and green onion with an egg mixture that was silky and lush.
Tori went simple and classic with a bagel and cream cheese using a Dining Plan snack credit.
I'm not sure that I would suggest make the trip over to Old Key West just to have breakfast at Good's. But if your travel plans have you staying at this Disney Vacation Club property, it is definitely worth your time to stop by for breakfast.

This is a great little place to go if you are on the move and don't want a sit down breakfast at Olivia's. We usually stopped by here on our way home April 2018 and were filled up before the bus arrived to take us to MCO. We had the breakfast bowl and platter.
