Is "Rose' all day" your mantra when it comes to wine? Then head to Disney Springs and make a stop at Wine Bar George as they celebrate National Rose Day on Saturday June 9th, 2018. Master Sommelier George Miliotes will be hosting not one, but two rose tastings led in celebration of the palate pleasing wines.
Rose' wines can be created from a wide variety of grapes all around the globe. This means that there are pretty diverse. The hallmark color of a rose wine comes from the production process, not the grapes. Black-skinned grapes are crushed but the skins are only allowed to remain in contact with the juice for a short period of time. This yields the lighter color, and brighter flavors that make it a food friendly sip.
Wondering can get a drink of pink at Walt Disney World? Here are just a few glasses of Rose' I think are worth searching for.
If you would like to celebrate National Rose' Day by learning how to taste like a Master Sommelier now's your chance to broaden your horizons with one of the friendliest categories of wines out there. Participants in the Tastings will move through six different rose' wines accompanied cheese and charcuterie. Tickets are $50 per person for either the June 8, 3:30 - 5 p.m; or June 9, 3:30 - 5 p.m sessions. You can make your reservations for the event at eventbrite.com here.
