Over the years this cold creamy pineapple soft serve has been served plain, in floats, on top of cake, with a shot of rum, and blended up as a smoothie - sometimes with rum. Disney has turned the simple treat into a delicious and versatile snack that park goers love. However in this girl's opinion Wine Bar George has created the most exciting Dole Whip Drink of all, the Dole Whip Mimosa.

This beautiful sip first showed up on the Wine Bar George Brunch Menu and was immediately welcomed with open arms. You don't have to have a brunch reservation though, because this sweet sensation is also being served up at The Basket by Wine Bar George. Just walk up to the window and order.

The Dole Whip Mimosa is a made with what Wine Bar George calls Froscato (Pineapple Dole Whip, moscato wine, and a touch of vodka) that is topped with prosecco. Only Master Sommelier, George Miliotes could figure out a way to perfectly blend sweet moscato with Dole Whip and then top it with bubbles. One sip and I was completely sold.

The drink tastes so fresh it's like a burst of pineapple straight out of the field. The bubbles from the prosecco add a refreshing brightness that makes it perfect for the tropical climate of Florida. The zip added by the bubbles are just plain fun.
