Walt Disney World know that Americans consume somewhere around 16-17 billion quarts of popcorn each and every year, that's just one of the reasons why you'll find no shortage of the snack throughout the Disney Parks. We love popcorn so much in the U.S. we have both a National Popcorn Day AND a National Caramel Popcorn Day. If you just can't get enough of this old-fashioned whole grain snack that's perfect to pop in your mouth, you'll want to know where to get the goods on your next Disney vacation.
Gourmet flavors of popcorn can be found in Epcot at a special popcorn cart found outside near the Imagination pavilion. Fans of the crunchy, fluffy snack will be excited to know that Cheddar Cheese, Buffalo Bleu Cheese, and Sour Cream and Chive popcorn make a show here right alongside the classic Disney popcorn. If you love to munch, this is the spot to be in Epcot!
Guests who like their flavored popcorn sweet, head around the World Showcase Lagoon to Germany for freshly made popcorn coated in rich decadent Werther's caramel. For caramel lovers the pavilion's sweet shop, Karamell-Kuche, is a mecca of luscious caramel-y goodness. The caramel popcorn here is made throughout the day and simply to die for.
When funky flavors are what you crave, and you don't mind if it has been pre-packaged, Disney's Main Street Popcorn can be found in several sweet shops and Resort gift shops across the property. This Disney brand boasts creative combinations of flavors with names like Chocolate Cheddar Popcorn, Cinnamon Toast Popcorn, Kettle Corn, and Confetti Popcorn to tempt your taste buds or take home for a souvenir.
There's a new refillable souvenir bucket designed for Mickey and Minnie's Surprise Celebration in honor of Mickey and Minnie's 90th Anniversary. Refillable Popcorn Buckets cost $10.00 and offer guests refills for $2.00 (or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit) during their length of stay.
These spots are far from the only places to find your fill of popcorn at Walt Disney World. Be on the look-out for menu items at the restaurants that feature popcorn, cupcakes decorated with popcorn, and micro-stands selling unique flavors like the Bacon Spiced Popcorn sometimes found in Fort Wilderness. Pop Secret is the official popcorn of Disney Parks!
