A Bucket List is a list of things that one has not done before but wants to do before they die - or "kick the bucket." The lists are full of goals and dreams, and the concept of them has inspired many creative visions that celebrate living your life with joy to the fullest. Disney fans around the world have hijacked the concept and created their own Disney themed Bucket Lists full of adventures and activities to do on their Disney Vacations.
The objective of creating a bucket list isn't to instill some kind of a race against time, it's simply to make a tangible reminder of the things that bring you joy and to encourage you to put yourself first now and again. Starting a list of your own is as easy as grabbing a piece of paper and a pencil. However creating a useful list, might take a little bit more thought.
Things to include could be places to visit, foods you would like to taste, and activities you would like to try. Maybe you'd even like to re-create a Disney Movie Scene in real life, that would be a great addition to your list! Be sure that your bucket list has some easily attainable goals on it as well as the big dramatic dreams - this will help you stay motivated to check them off.
Do you need some help getting started? Here are 10 random things on my Disney Bucket List to give you some ideas.
It's okay if your bucketlist grows and changes, because as you cross things off you will inevitably discover new things that you want to do. Feel free to keep adding on to your list, just be sure that you keep crossing things off by completing them too. Bucket lists are great tools to help you plan your next travel experience, and when someone questions "You're going on a Disney vacation AGAIN?" You can simply reply "Yep! I'm checking another activity off of my bucket list."

Great idea - Disney bucket list! I've never gone to Disneyland, and growing up that was the place many kids in America dreamed of visiting. So, that would top my list. And, then, to visit Disney, Paris - would love to see the continental "spin" on things. And, of course, with so many things changing/updating at the Florida parks, there would be a number of items for the list right there. (Eating at the chef's table at Victoria and Albert would be amazing.)

Our Disney bucket list includes visiting all the parks to take part in the special events. So far we've hit Not-So-Scary, Food and Wine and Flower and Garden Festivals. We just keep coming back for the same events :D Also, a while ago a friend posted a graphic with all the WDW cupcakes on it and when/where you can get them. That too has become a bucket list. Obviously visiting an international park and Club 33 are on the list, but we've been keeping it easy so far.

One thing my bucket list is doing more Disney Runs. Tinkerbell has moved to the top of my list and I had planned to do it this year with my daughter but we were out of internet access when it opened and when we checked one day later - SOLD OUT - So disappointing! We really want to do the Disneyworld Marathon 25th anniversary - the whole 26.2! Really hope it doesn't sell out before we get in!

First on my Disney bucket list was the Tinkerbell half marathon this year with my daughter. Sadly we were out of internet access when registration opened and one day later when we checked - SOLD OUT - very disappointing. Maybe next year... Also on my list is the 25th anniversary of the Disneyworld Marathon, the whole 26.2! Hopefully I'll get my registration in before it sells out!

Liz - I have the same goal of visiting all the special events, but also keep going back for my favorites! LoL! I need to book a Christmas break, however I'm so in love with Food & Wine Festival I don't know if I could give it up.
Debbie - Keep trying to get in on those races! These days you've really got to be right on top of the registration openings!
I've been trying to do at least one new things on every vacation!

to create an encyclopedia of "all" Disney walkaround characters that have 'EVER' been represented at all of the Disney parks over the years.
A former co worker told me that (supposedly) a walkaround has been created for "all" film characters, which I find hard to believe.

Great article! I do wonder what people think when I tell them that I would love to go to Disney World AGAIN, so thanks for the idea of a good response..."I'm checking another activity off of my bucket list." I'm going to use that : )
Of course, thanks to the Disney Food Blog, most of these "activities" revolve themselves around food and restaurants that I want to try, but not all...

I would love to take a Disney Cruise through the Panama Canal. (15 day trip) !
I would love to go to the Christmas show.
I would love to meet Cinderella.
I would love to see Radiator Springs at night when all the neon is lit up.
I would love to finish a whole turkey leg !
A lot of things you all mentioned sound neat but I don't know a thing about them.
Ex. What is so great about staying at particular resorts?
What is Victoria & Alberts' about? I know who they are but I don't know what
What this is about?
All of everyone's ideas sound interesting !

I tried this on my last trip (although I honestly thought i was the first to think Of it. I should have known better lol)
Included were such things as:
1) take a picture with 5,10,15 etc. characters
2) ride the haunted mansion 10 times
3) eat at be our guest restaurant
I had way more but I won't list them all. It was a little hard to make some of these happen because I was with my elderly parents. I will just save them for my next trip! Thanks for the ideas for some new editions!

My husband and I are hitting our list next week. We have always wanted to spend a day, taking our time going though Epcot. Have gone to Disney several times with children but never get to spend enough timeslot all of Epcot Center.
Now we will. No kids. It's a grownup time for us.
