For my family Dining in Walt Disney World is always one of our favorite parts of vacation. As regular readers know we're true Disney foodies. Today I've got a round-up so much recent foodie news it needs a post all to itself! Let's get on with the goodies.
A big shout-out for a job consistently well done to Chef Tim Majoras at Flying Fish at Disney's BoardWalk. Orlando magazine bestowed the 2019 Critic's Pick - Best Chef Award to Chef Tim. Dining Critic Joseph Hayes says, "There are chefs who cook to a superb standard every day, and sometimes one who rises above it with a vision of what is possible."
More honors were bestowed upon fan favorite eateries across Walt Disney World as USA Today announced their Readers' Choice Awards for Best Amusement Park Restaurants. Disney restaurants claimed 6 out of the top 10 spots!
Our friends over at the Disney Food Blog just released a great video post Introducing Disney's NEWEST and COMING SOON Restaurants! In case you didn't know, there are a lot of them! You can watch the video below.

August also kicks off Orlando Magical Dining Month, and once again plenty of exciting Disney Restaurants are participating in the event. A fund-raiser that reaches across the Orlando Metro Region, between August 23 - September 30, 2019, more than 100 of the best restaurants will each be offering a three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu for just $35 per person. One dollar from each meal goes to support local charities. You can view the participating restaurants HERE.
Reservations Now Available for the exclusive new Restaurant in Epcot's Japan pavilion, Takumi-Tei! The elegant space highlights the artistry of nature, check out the recent photo tour from AllEars.net.
Finally - Tony's Most Merriest Town Square Party Returning to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This add-on is an party-long experience where guests can mingle in and out while enjoying food, beverages, and entertainment featuring the one and only Tony himself.
