Over the weekend the Walt Disney World Resort moved forward in its phased reopening as guests returned to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Parks. After being closed for four months the theme park giant opened the gates to a somewhat different Disney experience.
Our friends at the Disney Food Blog were on site LIVE from the Historic Reopening of Magic Kingdom and offered a look at what it was like. Some of the biggest differences were seen in transportation as well as the new health and safety guidelines discussed previously. While there were lines in some places that were encountered, ride queues were astonishingly short and as guests fanned out through the Parks the crowds were light. Of all the places in the Magic Kingdom to reach capacity for the day... it was the gift shop at Splash Mountain.
