Disney Springs & Disney Resort Hotels To Temporarily Close Due To COVID-19 Precautions

The Walt Disney Company has now made the decision to temporarily close all of the Disney owned and operated locations including shops and restaurants at Disney Springs beginning Tuesday, March 17, through the end of the month. Some operating partners have already closed up shop ahead of this decision.

In line with state and federal guidance and in an abundance of caution,

  • Walt Disney World Theme Parks are closed through March 31. Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will close at 5:00 PM on March 20.
  • Disney Springs will close beginning March 17.

Current Disney Resort Guests have until March 20th to make arrangements for their departure. Magical Express will continue running until that time. Character dining, character experiences, and salon services have been modified begining today. Please adjust your schedules accordingly.

In line with that, Disney's Vero Beach Resort will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20, through the end of the month.
