Love is in the air at Walt Disney World. Every year, more than 1,500 couples tie the knot at the most magical place on Earth. But where exactly do these couples get married, and have their receptions?
Many locations are available, both inside theme parks and at resort hotels. Today, we're going to take a look at some of the best locations for wedding ceremonies at Walt Disney World.
For larger ceremonies:
Disney's Wedding Pavilion: On the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Disney's Wedding Pavilion is the most popular venue for ceremonies at Walt Disney World, and was built specifically for such. It holds up to 250 guests, and can be left as is, or dressed up to couture wedding status.
Sea Breeze Point at BoardWalk. Also built specifically for weddings, this venue can hold up to approx. 100 guests. The beautiful gazebo overlooks Crescent Lake and the Yacht & Beach Club resorts.
Croquet Court at BoardWalk. For those who like garden weddings, this is a great choice. The area holds up to 180 guests.
Wedding gazebo at Disney's Yacht Club. Another excellent garden wedding choice, this area is available for up to approx. 100 guests on the lawn. A small gazebo holds the bride, groom and officiant as the guests look on from the lawn in a Yacht Club courtyard.
For magical theme park ceremonies:
Canada Courtyard at Epcot: This is a beautiful location that one might not immediately think of. With mountains, waterfalls and pine, it's a scenic and serene place for a wedding ceremony. Ceremonies must start by 9 a.m., with up to 80 guests.
Swan Boat Landing at the Magic Kingdom. For the ultimate in wedding magic, have your ceremony overlooking Cinderella's Castle. Ceremonies must start by 8 a.m. with up to 50 guests.
For intimate ceremonies:
Sunrise Terrace at Wilderness Lodge. An intimate, rustic and private setting for the bride, groom and up to 8 guests.
Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian Resort. As close to an intimate beach wedding that you can get at Disney World, this sandy area on Seven Seas Lagoon is available for the bride, groom and up to 8 guests.

My wife and I were married at Disney's Wedding Pavilion in November 1999. I'd do it all again!

What if my wedding took place here? I would really be one of the happiest brides. We I am happy that I got married in Vegas but this is only my wish. :)
