End Of The Year Marvel & Star Wars Wrap Up

Slowly coming to the middle of October and news for Marvel and Star Wars is trickling out of the House of Mouse. With two huge movies coming nearly back to back, the growing focus will be on these two new properties. In case you haven't seen anything on these two movies, let's take a quick look at each one.

Benedict Cumberbatch is Dr. StrangeBenedict Cumberbatch is Dr. Strange

From Marvel comes Dr. Strange, the story of a brilliant brain surgeon who loses the use of his hands. On his quest to regain his ego, he becomes much more then he was. As superhero movies go, this will be the first look into a completely different side of the Marvel Universe. Dr. Strange opens the door for the magical side of the MCU, while also making a possible linking character between the major MCU and the Netflix characters with the eventual development of the Defenders franchise.

Of course there is much more to the story but I would rather not spoil it. If you're interested in seeing the first official trailer, check it out here:

Star Wars also has its own untested property lying in the wings. Rogue One is a standalone story that takes place between Episode three: Revenge of the Sith and Episode four: A New Hope. It tells the story of the mercenary group who stole the Empires plans for the Death Star and how they were able to return them to rebels.

Check out the new trailer just released today!

Star Wars: Rogue One is set to release on December 16th of this year.
