At Epcot's World Showcase, just outside of the Germany Pavilion Guests will find a miniature Bavarian Train Village. This little town has been beautifully set into a tiny landscape of rambling rockwork, carefully trimmed greenry, and that is beautifully detailed architecture since its debut at the 1995 Epcot Food & Wine Festival. Throughout the space, making its way across the little hills, towns, and tunnels runs a Lehmann Gross Bahn G-scale model railway.
A foot-path rambles through the garden of the "Romantic Road" which is a touring route in Germany that visits many of their most historic towns and castle. Using the path Guests can get a closer look at the entire track and the cute vignettes that have been created around it.
The railway village creates a fun environment for its inhabitants (after all every village needs people) who get to celebrate their own Christmas-time, Flower & Garden, and Food & Wine Festivals with miniature marketplace booths and festive topiary. Not to mention the glowing eyed zombie invasion that occurred in it when Professor Dementor was running amuck in the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure.
Have you ever wished that you could take a ride on this little railway? Then you should be sure to check out this fun video from the Disney Parks Blog.

We always stop and look. My husband was actually born near there in Germany.
