Saturday April 7th is National Beer Day! It's the perfect time to take a stroll around World Showcase Lagoon and taste your way through some global brews. There is a lot of alcohol in this Drink Around The World challenge, but don't forget that Disney Parks are family friendly places. Think about taking on this list over two days, or in a group and sharing your drinks. Be sure to know your limits and drink responsibly. Now - on to the challenge!
Canada - Popcorn Cart
Start your beer journey around World Showcase with a sup from the Popcorn Cart in Canada. Yes, it may seem like an odd spot to hit the tap, but this cart is pulling some great Canadian beers like Labatt Blue, and Moosehead Radler just for starts.
United Kingdom - Rose & Crown Pub
Now that you've started sipping, make your way to the Rose and Crown Pun in the UK Pavilion. Go for a classic Guinness Stout, or try a pub blend like the classic Black-and-Tan, or the bright and citrusy Shandy. The menu at Rose & Crown is pretty tasty, so this would be an amazing spot to grab a bite to eat before getting too deep in your tour.
France - Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
After you've watched Impressions de France, slip into Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie for a quick bite. Grab your choice of rich, buttery pastry, and a round of the Kronenbourg 1664.
Morocco - Morocco Coffee and Pastries
At the back of the Tangierine Cafe inside the beautiful Morocco Paviion, you'll find Morocco Coffee and Pastries. This is the place to find Casa Beer. A classic beer of Morocco, Casa is brewed and bottled in Casablanca. If you still have some room in your stomach, you should know that this place has fantastic baklava.
Japan - Kabuki Cafe
Have some fun at Japan's Kabuki Cafe with a Kirin Frozen. This Kirin Draft is topped with an icey Kirin foam, that helps to keep your beer cold. Though, if you'd rather go a more traditional route regular Kirin, Asahi and Sapporo are also on the menu. Hey " are you remembering to stay hydrated as you drink around the world? Heat, sun, and alcohol can be a dangerous combination; be sure to think about your health and drink a bottle of water between all those beers.
American Adventure - Block & Hans
Great American craft beers are what you'll find at Block & Hans in the America Pavilion. The selection changes from time to time here, but most recently there were great brews such as Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, Honor Warrior IPA, Founder Porter, and Bell's Amber Ale. Looking for a snack here? How about a Mickey Pretzel and Cheese Sauce, that sounds like the perfect snack on a beer tour to me.
Italy - Gelato Kiosk
The Italian Gelato Kiosk is the place to grab a quick brew in the Italy pavilion. Snag a La Rosa Italian Beer or a Moretti Lager from the cart as you continue to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Epcot. If you're looking to sit for a spell, head into Tutto Gusto and order up a beer flight to sample of few of the Italian brews.
Germany - Biergarten Restaurant
Time for more food! A lot more food. Schedule your tour so that you hit Germany at meal time and sit down in the Biergarten Restaurant for a scrumptious buffet dinner, a fun alpine show, and beer steins that hold a full liter of the best German brews. Just settle in and enjoy yourself here where it's Oktoberfest every day of the year.
African Outpost
Once you stagger away from the dinner table, keep heading around the lagoon and find your way to the Refreshment Coolpost at the African Outpost. Your onjective here is an Old Elephant Foot IPA or a Safari Amber.
China - Joy of Tea
While the Joy of Tea is better known for its specialty cocktails, you'll find a couple of interesting international beer options here as well. Both Foo and Tsing Tao beer are on the menu at this lagoon-side spot to grab a snack. This is the perfect place to just buy one and share it with the group.
Norway - Midnattssol Bakeri
Midnattssol Bakeri is a temporary kiosk located in the Norway Pavilion, but they've got beer on the menu so you could stop here to give the Aass (pronounced Ouse) Pilsner a try.
Mexico - La Cantina de San Angel
At La Cantina de San Angel you can find more than margaritas, but the Margaritas are pretty fabulous. Mexican beers such as Dos Equis Lager and Pacifico Clara are on draft and have a more familiar flavor for the American beer drinker than the last couple pavilions did. Stop here for your final food of the challenge as well - because who doesn't need tacos?
OK! There you have it, if you think you're up to the challenge head on out and Drink Around The World! Will you be up to the task? Leave a comment and let me know. Thanks so much to our friends over at the Disney Food blog for exclusive use of their images.

I remember "drinking our way around the world" back in the day. I wouldn't make it to the American Pavilion if I tried that now, coming from either side.

Careful drinking some of those craft beers. One of those IPA's is like drinking 4 Bud Lights.

Interesting to see Disney "formalize" the adventures we have done at Epcot for years. Our original drink around the world didn't have nearly the variety that is out there now. The selection for France back then was Michelob.

Craig - I agree that Disney has been taking a lot of queues from the fans lately. But you know we're a fan site, right?
