Epcot's Main Entry Plaza Gets A New Look

Guests arriving at Epcot will be welcomed to the Park with a new look at the main entrance plaza. Nodding to the past as it embraces the transformative future, 12 flags featuring the six original icons of Epcot were raised to flank Spaceship Earth and the beautiful new fountain. Along with the flags a vibrant ribbon of light that is more than 400-yards long and new music in the entry plaza embrace the spirit of Epcot that continues to inspire us.

Walt Disney Imagineering's Zach Riddley commented about the new entryway on his Instagram about how color and original design philosophy of the park combine to introduce the new neighborhoods of Epcot.

Energy and optimism to the revitalized architecture, lush landscape and flowing fountain of the re-imagined guest entry experience.

Zach also made note that the re-imagined plaza isn't quite complete and as the transformation of Epcot continues there is so much more to come. So stay tuned!
