If there's one bar at Walt Disney World that always gets rave reviews it has got to be La Cava del Tequila nestled deep inside Epcot's Mexico Pavilion. Well, I'm happy to say that now, guests who aren't having a Park day can enjoy some brand new cocktails from the La Cava professionals at Rick Bayless' Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs.
While La Cava del Tequila specializes in the hard Mexican Liquer, the selections presented at Frontera Cocina offers a much broader variety to compliment the menu of the celebrity chef's serious Mexican cuisine. The beverage menu includes a respectable beer and wine list with a fun Jamaica Sangria. There three different Agave Flights available in Traditional Tequila, Premium Tequila, or Mezcal. La Cava fans will be happy to note the the famous La Cava Avocado Margarita has joined the menu along with the signature Frontera Margarita, and a Blood Orange Jalapeno Margarita.
Non-tequila drinkers can look forward to some fun selections such as the Barcelona Nights which incorporates Grey Goose Vodka, fresh lime, and red wine syrup, or All The Pretty Girls with its St. Germain, fresh grapefruit, and cava. I'm not sure I'll be able to pick just one!
For guests that don't have the time of inclination to sit and stay for a drink, the Frontera Cocina walk-up window will offer the Frontera Margarita, and a Blood Orange Jalapeno Margarita, as well as two Mexican Beers.
In addition to the fabulous assortment of alcoholic beverages, teetotallers will be delighted to find Aqua Frescas in Hibiscus or Lime, and a Fiesta Mexicana Iced Tea.
