Grown-ups will delight in the garden inspired libations being served during the 23rd Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. With a full range of delicious bites being served up by the creative Disney chefs at the Outdoor Kitchens, it's no wonder the beverage program has stepped up its game to offer a full range of refreshing drinks to wet your whistle.
Epcot's France Pavilion is a great spot to stop for a cocktail while strolling World Showcase Promenade any time of year, but during the Flower & Garden Festival creative cocktail options get all the more refreshing. Back again in 2016 the Fleur de Lys Outdoor Kitchen will be serving up push-pop perfection in the Ice Pop Grand Marnier Peach Cocktail, a combination of French Peach Iced Tea, Grand Marnier Peach Raspberry Liqueur, and Vodka.
The Pineapple Promenade is best known as the original location to indulge in a classic Dole Whip topped with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, and that option remains one of my favorites. However - listed as a "frozen dessert," the delicate non-alcoholic Violet Lemonade is a sweet slush that will cool you off and quench your thirst.
The Florida Fresh Outdoor Kitchen is home to some invigoratingly fresh beverages including Fresh Squeezed Watermelon Juice, the Watermelon Cucumber Slush (with or without alcohol) and the elegant Key Lime Sparkling Wine. Made from 100% key lime juice the bright crisp flavor is like a burst of florida sunshine.
Delicious drinks abound at the Flower & Garden Festival Outdoor Kitchens, and I'm really looking forward to trying a few of the new to me options as well! Here's what's on my list:
Our thanks goes out to the Disney Food Blog for exclusive use of their cocktail images making this post all the more tempting. I hope you're just as excited as I am to partake in these sweet sips at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
