The future of Epcot looks lush and green from concept art shown at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California this weekend. Included amongst the plans revealed is a new walk through attraction called "Journey of Water" that was inspired by the playful personality of the element in Disney's Moana.
To be located in the reimagined Epcot neighborhood called World Nature, that will encompass "The Seas with Nemo and Friends," as well as "The Land," tp offer guests more opportunities than ever to connect with the natural elements of the world around us.
"Journey of Water" is a magical and tactile walk that will feature exploration trails flanked by deep verdant spaces where guests will come into contact with "living" water. Here guests can reach out to touch the water system and while discovering how water interacts with our planet. Water is essential for life; not only does it nurture lands and seas, but it gives sustains our fragile humanity. In the Journey of Water guests will fine inspiring waterfalls, fountains, babbling streams and flying jets of aqua pura.
